What's your least favorite portrait book?

I voted for Dawn's Book . All the other portraits endeared the Sitters to me more (yes even my very least favorite character, Abby) Dawn's did the opposite. In fact, imo, this book makes Dawn worse than Abby. I remember being absolutely shocked when I first read how Dawn purposely snooped through the Lazars' mail, not even having the decency to stop when she accidentally hit upon the letter from Sandra's school. For her to make the choice of self-righteously trying to prepare Sandra for the news simply to ease her conscience made it all worse. Of course, when the whole thing came to a head, I felt awful for poor Sandra. I'm not saying her parents should have left that letter out to begin with, because they shouldn't have. What if Sandra herself had found it? I also thought that was a big enough deal for Mrs. Lazar to have made it known to the BSC why she would never be using them again. Kudos to her for not doing that, being that kind to Dawn, just that I would have understood if she had or if nothing else if the other BSC Members had innocently asked Dawn one day (after no calls from the Lazars) if she knew what had happened.

^ I agree about feeling awful for Sandra. What a way to have to her summer ruined.

I'm not going to vote, because I've only read three of the portraits (Stacey, Claudia, and Mary Anne), but of those three, I'd say Mary Anne's. She's not easy to sympathize with...

i haven't read kristy's portrait yet, but out of the ones i HAVE read my least favorites are dawn and stacey. i like that MA and claudia grew up together and have stories of each other, but aside from that, dawn and stacey were both kind of annoying. MA and claudia were both pretty modest in theirs.

I voted for Kristy's. I just don't find it as interesting as the other portraits.

I voted for Mary Anne's book. I liked all the potrait books, some more than others, but Mary Anne's was the one that I had the hardest getting into for some reason.

My least favorite portrait would have to be Kristy's. It didn't really strike me as interesting which is a shame because I love Kristy and her life story but the portrait just bore me.

I haven't read Kristy, Mary Anne's, or Abby's yet. Kristy's is on the way (thank you ebay!). I would think hers would be the worst of all of them. I liked Stacey's, Dawn's, and Claudia's pretty well.

Kristy's was terrible. All the stuff about Kristy being an awesome left handed *shortstop* just drives me up the wall. Plus one of the stories was just the plot of the BSC movie, yawn.

^It really was awful. The lefty shortstop was especially egregious because the left-handed glove was such a big part of the next anecdote, so you couldn't even pretend that she'd learned to field righty and just hit left-handed.

I only need Claudias and then I have them all, but my least favourite is probably Kristys - I don't think it added anything new to her character.

I think maybe Kristys. I just found it boring to a non- tomboy like me.
