mal and jessi portrait collections part deux

I felt this merited a new thread.

If no one minds, I would like to organize the Mallory and Jessi Portrait Collections project mentioned in the other m&j pc thread.
Here are the chapters I think we need:

a before age 5 chapter
a kindergarten/1st grade chapter
a 2nd/3rd/or 4th grade chapter
a pre-Jessi/Mallory meeting chapter*
a BSC-era chapter

Can you guys think of any other chapters that would be necessary?

If you want to participate, please reply with whether you want to write a Mal chapter or Jessi chapter and which of the above five you want. In the portrait collection, each of these stories are pretty long so I would think maybe each would be multiple chapters on a place like fanfiction.net. Depending on interest, I may have people split up the different chapters or add more stories.

For now, you can only do one, but if there is not sufficient interest within a week i'll open it up so you can write one for mal and one for jessi. Once you reply, I'll send you a pm with further secret instructions.

I posted on your LJ, but I though I'd comment here too... I'd be interested in doing a Jessi ballet chapter, maybe the chapter on her getting her first pair of pointe shoes? I have some more time now that I'm home with the baby all day long...

Is this still on? If so, then I'll have a go at writing (though no promises on quality! Or quantity, for that matter). I'd like to do a Mallory pre-age 5 chapter. Imagine Mallory and baby triplets!

Is this a collaborative effort? Or am I supposed to come up with the ideas myself?

i'll send you an invitation to the lj community. i think i may explain how it works there. it hasn't really gotten off the ground yet, because we don't have quite enough people yet, so don't worry about it being too late.

How far did you get on this project? It does look like a big undertaking but a good idea. Maybe we should petition Ann (or the ghost writers ;D) to write these, though I'm sure that would be met with a "we're sorry but there are no plans for such a book at this time" or something like that....

Is this still going? I'd be interested in it. Last time it was mentioned, it seemed like the group had already been established and NO OUTSIDERS ALLOWED. :-p But if you're looking for people, I'd love to do it, especially Mal chapters.
