I've only read Abby's (I actually read it for the first time pretty recently). I really enjoyed it. It made me like her. She was just "there" before that, if you know what I mean. I know my library has one other portrait book, but I can't remember which one. I just remember not being very excited about reading it. ;D

I liked reading the portrait books. I'm not sure which portrait book is my favorite. Maybe Abby's.

I love the Portrait Collection books, too. Kristy's is my least favourite, and it's not because I really dislike it. I just like all the others better. I like that there are so many parts that take place outside of Stoneybrook... and I like the pictures!

I actually really liked them, although the inconsistency between Mary Anne's and Claudia's was glaring. I think Mary Anne's book said fourth grade was the first time they weren't in the same class, but Claudia wasn't in their class in second grade and she had a totally different teacher to who they said Kristy and Claudia had in fourth grade.
For everyone's saying Abby was the best, my Kindle has trouble reading Abby's writing. The bit taking place in first grade is "Red and Blue Just Won't Do". But the way it's written, my Kindle reads "Bed and Blue Just Won't Do".

I like the portraits too. It's nice to get some variety from the regular formula.
