Let's think of scenes in any of the BSC and LS series that involve eggs, for any reason
The big house family having eggs and fruit on New Year's Day in Karen's New Year
In Karen's Plane Trip before the chicks hatched
Before the ducklings hatched in Karen's Ducklings

There were egg and spoon races at one of their many parties at least...maybe Stacey's good-bye party?

Wasn't there an egg and spoon race in Dawn's Big Move or am I mistaken?

How could I forget Mary Anne + 2 Many Babies...I still have the book but can't locate it anywhere and didn't read it much when I first bought it, but wanted to revisit it so badly since high school when I took Parenting and had to bring home Baby Think It Over, and since my University days when taking sociology
Also, Myriah and Gabbie Perkins cooking eggs with green food colouring cause of Green Eggs and Ham, I think this was either in Claudia and the Great Search, or in Snowbound, I can't recall.

I think Claudia and the Great Search was when Myriah and Gabbie made chocolate chip cookies with green food coloring. Stacey said the green cookies smelled good even if they looked "interesting" or something like that. In "Kristy and the Walking Disaster," (starts on page 108 original cover) Kristy finds David Michael, Andrew, and Karen gathered around the breakfast table. The three Krushers are eating a huge breakfast, including scrambled eggs to "bulk up" before the big game. I believe this happens at least one other time during the series.

Mary Anne spinning the egg for Dawn at their summer camp in SS #10 I also remember Jenny sat on a hard-boiled egg in this book, causing Elvira to chase after her.

Yeah you're right, it was cookies, I must have thought of eggs cause of cracking them
Was it Farewell Dawn that had the egg tossing competition maybe?

Claudia and the Great Seach: hard-boiled eggs are part of Claudia's "sun salad." Farewell Dawn: Richard makes (tasty-sounding) eggs for breakfast in the first chapter. NY NY: egg creams!

Oh yeah, I liked that scene and she made the salad sound so delicious
I know Karen made a fancy salad in Karen's Plane Trip too on her last night in Nebraska from the garden, but can't recall if she used egg in it. I think it was mostly garden picked vegetables which included radishes shaped like flowers with a tool granny gave her

Any reason you're asking? Hope it wasn't weird I had a craving for eggs and I know a lot of us like scenes with food in it and it's been discussed before, so I made a topic... LOL I thought of another scene. In Karen's Tea Party when making brownies, she was beating the eggs and jokingly said sorry to the eggs for beating them though they've done nothing wrong, and Nannie thought it was funny. I thought that was so cute

If we were a family in the books, we'd have a lot of egg references because we eat them a. lot.
