Heh, that's a fair point, alula! I think I just found it so, so boring, but you're right on with the "soap-operatic hijinks"; that Livingston family was certainly all about the drama.
I remember your awesomely detailed post about Abby and the Secret Society - I haven't read this one yet but want to soon, I haven't read any of Abby's mysteries.

I like some mysteries, like MA and the secret in the attic. I really like that book. I also have a soft spot for Kristy and the missing kid (was this the title?) because it was the first BSC book I ever read

That's kinda weird that a mystery was your first BSC book! I'm afraid that if one of the mysteries had been my first book I wouldn't have read anymore after that.

Yeah, my grandma bought it for my cousin who was an obsessed BSC reader and she already had the book. My grandma knew I loved reading so she gave it to me and I was a big fan!! My second BSC book was actually also a mystery, Beware, Dawn. I loved that one too after that I switched to regular series. I don't know why I liked the mysteries so much but I'm kind of glad I did, because if I didn't I would've never been such an addict now ;D

I think the mysteries were actually among some of my favourites in the series. Although I spend too much of my time now wondering why I like them so much if noone else does :S

I like the mysteries too, Lisa. Sure, some of them are far-fetched but that's why it's a book and not real life

I actually am in the process of reading all the mysteries again. I remember loving some of them, and some of them thinking they were sooooooooooooo boring. The first mystery I actually ever read was A super mystery, "Babysitters haunted mansion". I love that book, I almost know it by heart.

I'm trying to get through Stacey and the Mystery Money right now, but I've been working on it for about 2 weeks. It's soooo boring. The only part I liked was in the beginning when she took Charlotte shopping. Before they discovered the counterfeit money and things turned boring, of course.

I liked the dude Stacey starts dating. He seemed really cool for her. Pity he had to move away cos his dad was a big shot undercover agent.

We see him again in a FF book, though. Well, Kristy and Abby see him.

Ooh, that's cool! Which book is it? It seems kind of random that he'd show up again given that his family moved away at the end of Mystery 10.

Oh yeah kristy and Abby go away for some like... debate tournament I think? I have only read that book once, and Terry/David shows up there. It's in Kristy and the Kidnapper, I believe
