^I don't remember that, but wouldn't that make her happy? I mean, she practiced horsey stuff with Mallory enough.

^Lol. Mallory did tell us that one of their (her and Jessi's) deep, dark secrets was that enjoyed pretending to be horses so lol Jessi should take that as a compliment.

Hahahaha that made me laugh so much! Jessi was really ooc for me in this one but then again it was t just about Ballet and her being black.
Mal annoyed me in this one too. I've always loved the Sam chapters and think it was nice of him to not let Stacy know he was being called a cradle robber to spare her feelings.
This is def my least favorite super special. It sort of pisses me off that mr Cheney does make Karen tinkerbell...but maybe it was easier than having to figure out a light.

I never get tired of Kristy telling Jessi "Oh, be quiet. You sound like a horse." easily one of the best parts in the book! it's kind of funny because normally i love reading jessi-centric books but i am really put off by her in this one, and my opinions about a lot of characters change in this book. i usually adore sam but found him really childish, and i kept siding with stacey when they were arguing.

I know this book is liked by (most) of us, and I do enjoy it too, but I remember thinking as a kid that the play topic was kind of lame, especially since some of the sitters got stuck with pointless jobs, plot wise, like measuring actors for costumes and babysitting on the set. I much would have preferred Snowbound: Part II !!!

I just reread Peter Pan recently, so it was a good time to read this Super Special. It's been a long time since I've seen the play on TV, though. Are there really that many Lost Boys in the musical? There are only six in the book.

Not really strictly on-topic (so mods feel free to move or delete this) but total BSC moment for me: I won two tickets in a radio station contest yesterday so I get to go see Peter Pan at my local theatre soon! (Sometime in the next two weeks. Have to exchange the vouchers for tickets so don't know which day yet, depends on what might already be sold out.)
I have the urge to re-read this (as well as read the original Peter Pan) before going but I'm in the middle of a series re-read right now and don't want to skip ahead, especially when it's only a relatively little bit ahead. Maybe I'll blast through the next section of books and come to it before going to the play. (I'm about 20 books behind where I wanted to be at this point in the year.)

So does anyone have any idea of time frame of this book in terms of length? I mean, I know the play was performed the 24th and 25th of January but I was wondering how long they rehearsed for before that, what date the play notice appeared, things like that.

^A few years ago I crazily took the challenge of trying to figure out days and times for all of the BSC (non LS or CD) books. I never did get around to editing it for possible (somehow) linking to here or posting. What I came up with then is that this story took place possibly in January and February. It began on a Monday and ended a little over a month later on a Friday.33 total Days. I haven't read this one in forever (not a favorite super special of mine) so I don't know the answers to your other questions. I hope the little info I did share helps somehow.

I do have it Greer. I have it saved on a flash drive. It's "only" 399 pages!!! Starring the BSC.docx (16.78 KB) I copy/pasted this in a new word document just as an example so each of you could get an idea of what I did. I even sent a few pages of it a couple years ago to Ann. She just replied something like that must been a lot of work, I really don't remember. I confess to hoping she might have taken a little more interest in it. Oh well. It was for us anyway.

Did you do all the books? I think it'd be nice to have a chart to refer to--like, a timeline with the fifth time through eighth grade with what happened *that* eighth grade year with as approximate as dates as we can get, if that makes sense.
On a personal level, as soon as my boyfriend gets around to fixing some things; I'd like to start working on my wiki again and it seems like you have some info already written down that would help flesh out things that I don't have added yet.
