^you seem to know lots of crazy trivia. I also had no idea that hodges was a guy until I met you ... all of you, actually. Nor did I realize that AMM based Mary Anne off of her self. If anything, I would have thought Mallory was more AMM, with the writing ... and the very realistic portrayal of awkwardness...

Penny, if you want to check out Ann's biography, there are a lot of random BSC-related facts in that.

I do have three copies of it. I have not yet worked up the courage to actually read it though.

it's hilarious. it is incredibly worshipful of ann. it is written from the perspective that ann is a better person than anyone who has ever lived before.

I'm reading this one for the first time thanks to the LJ community and am enjoying it so far. The part I really don't understand is why Jessi feels horrible for "flirting" with Daniel or even staring at him for longer than necessary just because she "has Quint in New York". I mean, WTF? It's not cheating if you look at another guy and she is only eleven anyway and too young for such a relationship (I know this BSC land where everyone eleven and older has a BF but still ;D). Also liked how parts of this book were tied into the LS Super Special, Karen, Hannie and Nancy: The Three Musketeers (when they find the house). And I can really sympathize with Mal and her constant bug bites because on trips and stuff I'm the one that gets the most bit up out of my family and they swell up and stuff so I really feel for her (I have issues with the beekeeper outfit though lol ;D) . Another thing I don't understand; how is it that Stacey, practically a boy expert, can't figure out that Sam is teasing her because he likes her and is flirting with her? She keeps saying, "Why is he teasing me?" and I'm like, "You idiot, he likes you!" Anyway that's as far as I got and I can't wait to read the rest ;D.

^ I also liked the ties to the LS book and just like this one, in general. ;D As for Stacey, I think that sometimes she isn't as big of "expert" on boys as everyone thinks and she claims. ;D

^just because you get a lot of attention from boys doesn't mean you know anything ;D

^ Exactly. Sometimes those girls are the most clueless (which can lead to trouble....)

Does this book tie in with Karen's Campout in the LS books? I seem to remember Karen going on a campout to Shadow Lake--or maybe it was Camp Mohawk??
