Hahaha, yeah. The girls are always thirteen anyway, so they could be thirteen in the past just as well. I'd see Dawn a cavewoman -- very back to nature!! She'd change history by making the cavemen vegetarians. And I could totally picture Stacey in some pre-revonutional upperclass French time, with the weird wigs and the dresses. Claudia's outfits would maybe be less weird in the sixties and with her artistic thing she would do good as a hippy. Mal and Jessi would be cowgirls!! They thought this would enable them to ride horses all the time, but they just got stuck looking after the pigs. I think Mary Anne would be a simple, normal girl, doing some random work in the city/in the fields and taking care of the kids. Kristy, however, would be Caesar. Haha. That sounds perfect, but what about Logan?

If they all went somewhere together, maybe the Titanic. That might be interesting, and I hope they'd all be able to stay together.

I think it'd be interesting for them to go to Japan. Then Claudia could learn some more about her heritage.

Abby travels back in time to see her father while he was still alive. Kristy goes back in time and is the queen of Egypt. Mary Anne travels back to meet her mother. Claudia travels back in time to meet some famous artist I'm not sure where Stacey traveled back in time. Dawn travels to the 60's and joins people in their protests. Mallory travels back in time to meet William Shakespeare. Jessi might travel to the Civil Rights Movement.
LMAO!

Abby travels back in time to see her father while he was still alive. Mary Anne travels back to meet her mother. I like these ideas. They remind me of The Time Traveler's Wife, when Henry went back in time and met his mother on a train.

What an interesting thread I never saw before. Great ideas everyone. I don't think this has been mentioned: what if the girls were able to go back in time and try to "prevent" or "rewrite" an event in their lives from happening? We never found out what type of cancer Alma had did we? Maybe Mary Anne could somehow make her mom aware of the cancer ahead of time so maybe she'd live? I don't know if this MA would be "our MA or if she'd even be 13." I am not much into the idea of spooks or being led by something supernatural but in this case that type of thing could be very cool. Abby, of course, could try to stop her dad from taking the fatal route he did. Sort of like a Back to the Future/Groundhog Day and that Family Channel Movie that's one every Holiday season where the fiance is given a chance to save his future wife from dying? There's an angel named Lionel, that's all I remember. Maybe it's called 5 Days or something like that? In any case, it would be cool to write such a group fan fic. Lol, remember that weird "SS#4" dream I once had where I tried to warn the others of what was to happen? We could even insert one or more of us "helping" the main character.

Your idea sounds like The Butterfly Effect, zoar3. You tweak one little moment of your life and the whole thing goes in a different direction. Like if Elizabeth had found a sitter for David Michael on that fateful day would Kristy have ever had her great idea? The idea could work in a chose your own adventure type book.

What is the Butterfly effect Sparklymouse? As a kid the idea of choose your own adventure fascinated me, I just never quite got into the actual books. That would be a cool way to write "an alternate" ending or even scenes for a BSC book.

Thank you, Sparklymouse. I just checked out the link and it sounds interesting but a bit too thrill-like for my taste. I am not one for thriller/horror or tons of action type movies.
BooBoo, was The Time Traveler's Wife good? I once saw part of Somewhere in Time and semi liked it. I think (maybe) it had a similar plot to TT's W?

This talk of going back and changing past events is making me think of the movie Frequency.
