I feel like sometimes, Kristy doesn't get enough credit. I loved her so much, especially in the earlier books.

Another great article! I think Kristy is a bit under appreciated, given how confident and clever she is. However, she became a bossy stereotype in later books.

Great article!!! I'm sort of like Kristy with a bit of Claudia in me, especially in the clothing department, especially in my teen years.
I'm so glad that unlike too many other books of the time, Kristy was not made to "outgrow" her "tomboy" ways, but accepted and embraced by her family and friends just the way she was.
That's why, contrary to some fanfictions, I don't see Kristy growing up as this fearful, over-anxious person "afraid" of change or "afraid" to grow up and why I don't see her "afraid" to leave Stoneybrook to embark on adulthood.
I see her along with the rest of the BSC exploring other parts of the world and getting to know a wide multitude of cultures.
I see her being a CEO multi-millionaire today and I see all the BSC ladies today making great things happen in the world.
