I was just rereading a later Claudia book and I realized something. One of her seventh grade friends is named Shira Epstein. Epstein was also the name of one of those fake friends that got Stacey into trouble at the concert - Heather Epstein. Coincidence, or not? I mean, it could be, but I could also imagine that Shira might be Heather's cousin, or even her younger sister (less likely since she's only a year below).
Are there any other kinds of character links?

Nannie’s last name is Taylor, I guess she could be related to the principal of SMS?

If Nannie's last name is Taylor, does that mean Kristy's mom was born Elizabeth Taylor? Because I would love that.

It's been said before that Sharon's maiden name is Porter, same as Karen's neighbour who she thinks is a witch. I know that Porter is a common name but I like the idea of them being related. Even if they aren't, Karen could just think they are and be convinced Dawn is a witch too.

^ It would be really funny if Karen saw Dawn eating something healthy but not super common with kids (like chia seeds or kombucha) and assuming she's drinking a potion or something.

Maybe Dawn would have gone goth in HS and dyed her hair black...the movie The Craft came out during the series run I think 😁
