^ Where did you see the reprint covers? I've to get copies myself in honor of the show.
I keep hoping that it's maybe around early June or something at this point. It sounds like it's done and about to go through a promotional period though. Maybe if the virus is still going they'll just release it.

This is the cover of the first one: Kristy's Great Idea. They can be kind of hard to look up online, since the earlier books in the series already have two or three different paperback covers, plus the graphic novels, plus ebook and audiobook versions. For instance, I just found out now when I was looking up that link to KGI that the new cover for Kristy and the Snobs is on Amazon, even though I went specifically looking for it last night and couldn't find it then, and even though as far as I can tell, the new cover for Logan Likes Mary Anne! isn't on Amazon yet.

^ I’m very attached to the old covers but the new ones are really cute! I really hope the series comes out soon. It would be nice to have some BSC nostalgia + escapism now By the way, does anyone else wonder if Dawn will be vegan instead of just vegetarian? It seems like a realistic update for her character and being vegan is way more common nowadays then when the books were written.

Thank you! They all pretty good on the cover. I wish I could say I found other news but nothing yet.

July 3rd on Netflix. Teaser Claudia's room looks spotless (minus the obvious clutter). Not a piece of lint on that carpet and the furniture is glowing. Let the nitpicking begin, lol.

It’s going to be so interesting to see the Babysitters Club in this day and age! I’m not going to lie when I say that one of my favorite things about the Babysitters Club was the 90s essence it had and still has. Either way, I’m still very excited to see the new series. Another thing I wanted to add, was I don’t picture Elizabeth and Watson as Alicia Silverstone and Mark Feurestein. It’s probably that I don’t picture Elizabeth with blonde hair, and Watson looking that young:) Just saw a pic of both..agreed on Elizabeth since Alicia is even older than Elizabeth was in the series..not to mention Elizabeth is a brunette..and at least they got the hair color right for Watson that both the movie and the original show missed..while balding, the hair that's on his head is brown, as shown in illustrations in both the BSC and BSLS..(ironically in both Karen's Little Sister and Karen's Birthday he is shown with a full head of hair)..which reminds me, Harold Hill was even more bald than Watson and no one describes HIM as pushing 50..I wonder why.

Maybe Claudia cleaned up lol. Oh wow, I love that trailer. They all look so cute just standing there and waiting for the phone to ring. Kristy sounds pretty spot on.

The trailer made me really excited, and I love the touch with the see-through phone, almost as a nod to the generation of us who read the books growing up. We all know there's going to have to be adjustments made to the storylines to account for the ways the world has changed in the last 20-30 years, but I view that as their way of signaling their intention to find the right balance between our generation and this one.

It would had been great if it was released on August for the series' 34th Anniversary. But one month before it's not bad. Can't wait to watch it

Who do you think had the pizza slice in their mouth? Sam? That looks like Janine at the table, too.
They must be dressed up for Watson and Elizabeth’s wedding because Kristy looked highlighted. Claudia’s outfit already made me laugh.

^ I saw that it was confirmed to be Sam with the pizza and Janine at the end of the table.
I had just a general question. I want to do a reread leading up the show airing and since it’s the first ten books being adapted I’ll grab them. It doesn’t look like episode 10 will be the same though. Which books do you think I should grab?

Hmm, I don’t want this to turn into some Degrassi the Next, Next Generation show. I want some lighthearted summer entertainment.

I don’t know if I like the idea of making Jack gay or that it’s going to be modernized so much like with Elizabeth using apps to look for a sitter. crossing my fingers for some lighthearted summer entertainment.
