Cause the reboot got me thinking lol. I don’t have my books with me currently to confirm anything if it’s been mentioned. Married after college and had their kids? Later in life? Theories away!

Kristy- I’ve heard that Elizabeth and Patrick were around 20 years old when Charlie was born, so that would make Elizabeth 37 at the time of the series. Watson I think is in his mid to late 40s.
Claudia- I’m going to infer that the Kishi parents are in their early to mid forties. Not only that, but I feel like Mrs. Kishi’s sister Peaches, is in her early thirties. I remember reading books 78 and 97, and feeling like there was an age gap between them just by the way they communicated and were acting.
Stacey- I feel like the Mcgill parents are in their very late thirties to early forties. I’m saying this because Stacey’s their first child and was most likely born in their late twenties.
Mary Anne- I remember book number 4 saying that Richard was 42 or 43. In Mary Anne’s autobiography, we were told that Alma was 25 when MA was born, which means she would’ve been 38 at the time of the series.
Dawn- Book number 4 also mentioned Sharon being 42 then turning 43 later in the series. I think Mr. Schafer is the same age.
Mallory- I’m going to have to guess that the Pike parents are in their mid to late thirties. Something about them just gives me younger parent vibes.
Jessi- I’m guessing mid thirties for both parents because of how young Squirt is, and that their oldest is only 11.

In my head, older than me, but that is becoming less true with each passing year, haha.

Mary Anne- Richard was said to be 42 going on 43, so 44 by the end of the series. Her birth mom was like 24 going on 25 when she was ailing so if she lived, she would have been 36-37.
Kristy-She said Elizabeth was 37..and Watson, I don't believe is that much older depending on how old he was when Karen and Andrew were born..was under the impression he was like 2, maybe 3 years older..39, 40. Heart attacks can happen at ANY age depending on stress level and history of heart issues, lifestyle, etc.
Dawn-Sharon was 42 at the beginning, 43 later.
Claudia-Her parents I feel like they were in their early 40s.
Stacey-Edward and Maureen, not sure..but late 30s early 40s
Jessi-Her parents I'm guessing were mid to late 30s
Mallory-Her parents, mid 30s.

If they had Mallory right away after college, Dee and John would have been my age during the series 😳

That's really interesting because I always imagined him quite a bit older, like 50 to Elizabeth's 37. I don't think a bunch of 13-year-old girls would describe a 40-year-old man as "older" when all their parents are right around that age or even older, so in my head he was always well older than the rest of their parents.

Welp. I'm older than Elizabeth. Have not yet married a millionaire. Gonna go re-evaluate my life now.

Well, according to the BSC Wiki Watson is 37 like Elizabeth is..sometimes teens have a different perception of what they consider old..even in the TV series Buddy thought his mom was old when she was just 34..plus heart attacks can happen at ANY age if enough stress and lifestyle needs improvement. Or even genetics..didn't think Watson was one to marry those not in his age range..same deal with balding. Dunno how old Lisa is but she has to be well into adulthood.

I always thought of Watson as about 50, too. My parents have a similar age gap, just under twelve years. I did think it was a little strange for someone of 50 to have a four-year-old, but then again MY dad was exactly 50 when I was Andrew's age (main difference is he was originally married to someone before my mother and he was in his twenties when he had his first two kids, thirties when his third was born, and after one or two years came the divorce, about six-seven years of being single, and then remarried for two years before me). It's just that my parents are quite old for parents (I was actually born at the cusp age for women to have children with no medical complications although I am on the autism spectrum, but that isn't caused by ageing mothers).

He is described as slightly older, though..anything more than a 5 years difference is considered WAAY older and if he were 50, well..
