Assuming that the books weren't in a time warp and they had aged, when do you think the club would have disbanded? By the end of the series we had gone from 4 members to 9 back to 4 again. If things were spaced naturally do you think the club would have lasted until senior year?
I just assumed that they would probably make it baby-sitting until about 16 or so when they would get their first better paying jobs. Kristy or some one or likes sitting might up their prices after the club ended.

I think you're right that as they start to get their licenses, they'll look for other jobs or activities that take precedence over baby-sitting. But in my imagination, rather than disband the BSC entirely, it'll be a gradual transition over to some of the kids that are approaching baby-sitting age. Vanessa, Charlotte, and Becca are three that come to mind right away who would start baby-sitting when they turn 11, and people Kristy would (albeit reluctantly) hand the reigns over to while the older girls become more like associate members and just take some of the evening and weekend jobs that they're not old enough for yet.

Part of me really loves the idea of passing on the club and the other part of me hesitates. I think some people tend to see the next people as replacements for some reason. That would be really fun though to see them move on from the club with some ceremony like they had inducting Mallory and Jessi.

I always thought high school because of more/harder homework and extra curricular activities. That was already happening in the Friends Forever series, so it seemed natural. However, I never thought about the fact that as the club members got older the charges would, too. Anyone who was about 8 or above would not need a sitter by the time the girls were 16. Maybe that was how the club would die. Their client pool would dry up because the kids were aging out or starting to watch their own siblings.

That's a really good point I was rereading Abby and the Mystery Baby it was mentioned in passing if one of the triplets were home the club only needed to send one sitter for the rest of the pikes. Unless more families became more aware of the club they'd be losing clients as time went on.
