Has there been many books that described the history of Stoneybrook before? I'd love to go back and read them and the only one I can really think of is mystery 19. The wiki has a pretty comprehensive look but I'm not sure if it's missing anything.

The wiki has a pretty comprehensive look but I'm not sure if it's missing anything. Not too many...I'd love to see how Stoneybrook survived the 1918 flu pandemic, the Great Depression and two World Wars. I suspect lots of Ellis Island immigrants found their way to Stoneybrook since Stoneybrook is so near New York City.

Good question. I think some history is mentioned in The Ghost at Dawn’s House?

Good question. I think some history is mentioned in The Ghost at Dawn’s House? I remember the books mentioning that the Spier-Schafer house was two hundred years old and was used to house refugees running away from slavery before the Civil War...an Underground Railway Station so to speak. I'd love to find out what Native American tribes lived in the Stoneybrook area before the Europeans came.

That was probably mentioned in the Camp Mohawk books.

That was probably mentioned in the Camp Mohawk books. Yes, it was...I think also one of the Mary Anne books mentioned it. I love the good old north, including Canada and including the weather.

I wish that a whole book was written on the history of Stoneybrook. Even though it's fictional,I still would love to know more about it.

There are lots of folk stories in Stoneybrook. It would be really cool to see them touched on again!
