^ I like if it ever did make it all the way through high school they would have to restructure a lot. Like maybe meetings would be on Tuesdays and Thursdays or something and they wouldn’t last half as long as they do. They definitely wouldn’t be planning play groups on top of everything else.

Aww, I could see them trying to last til high school but real life wouldn’t allow it. I think Kristy and Mary Anne would be the last to cling to the club.

There were periods in the main series where they were already stretched super thin. There's no way the club functions the same when the sitters are in high school. If they were barely covering jobs in 8th grade, I feel like a single person being less available would torpedo the whole thing. Extracurriculars in high school are just way more time intensive than in middle school, and that's on top of AP courses and more serious relationships and family time before going away to college.
I barely remember Friends Forever, but I know the club sort of disbanded for similar reasons, so I'm sure they touched on some of this.

I know the issue of free time for a few members is why they briefly broke up in Kristy's Worst Idea so I could see it becoming a problem again in high school when it's almost all of them being pulled in other directions. Someone else talked up them training some of their older charges as they get older to be sitters. Like Vanessa Pike and Charlotte Johanssen and Becca Ramsey. That would have been nice, like a passing of the torch.

I can see some of them sticking with sitting in high school because it's more flexible than a real after school job. They could always turn down jobs if they had a busy week.
