Kristy needs to make more of an effort to get along with Watson. He is so why can't she meet him halfway ? He's not her dad so she's basically taking it out on him. Just like she did in the early BSC books. Kristy was really horrible to him in Kristy and the great idea.

Shannon the puppy was the cutest! That was the the best casting of the whole series.
Logan's a slob and kinda stupid. Young love is blind.
My favorite part was the last few minutes. Mallory and Kristy wearing the same swimming suit, Mary Anne's beekeeper ensemble, everyone having a blast by the pool.

Agreed on all parts. “Logan, are you giving out personal information again?” Lol that made me laugh Cute episode, but did they have to replace Shannon Kilbourne with Amanda? What was the point of that? When the junior members even dare to open their mouths, everyone stares at them, oof I like that in the end, Kristy just called Logan like a normal human woman, and everything worked out. Kind of atleast. kristy and watson awkwardly bonding in the kitchen! its nice to see their relationship develop

I wanted to see Amanda and Max in action (but already done in the original series) or Amanda and Karen hanging out but they did change her to replace Shannon the human and her mother was named Shannon lol 😂 No ordering pizza etc. and fighting over prank calls. It wouldn’t work these days. I love those dogs too.

I loved that Kristy of all people invited Logan to the party. She's a wingman for Mary Anne and did it better than Stacey or Claudia could, haha.
Really appreciated that the snooty mom with the perfect house turns out to be an animal lover who hosts these amazing rescue events. It was a nice twist on the trope.
I didn't care for Amanda's characterization. In the books she makes everyone envious, but here she was kind of dowdy. I loved her interactions with David Michael though. It would have been easy to pair her with Karen so I like that they took the less obvious route.

I'm so, so glad that Louie's death happened off screen. It was sad enough as is. Poor David Michael.😕
I also liked that the new puppy was a rescue dog.

I'm pretty sad that there is no Shannon Kilbourne in the series but I can see why that didn't work. Also they cut Max, but that's OK. I guess.

My favourite part was when Mrs Delaney called for a sitter for Amanda, and Mallory said "she's my age, why does she need a sitter?" And then the explanation Amanda gave to Kristy. It must be the same as what happened to Tiffany Kilbourne. I also liked how it showed Liz being uneasy about the new neighbourhood, too. I think the books never mentioned how the parents felt about big life changes like that, but as a mum myself now I can totally relate to Liz as well as Kristy.
I wonder if Mary Anne saying "I'm not in Paris" and Stacey replying "none of us are" is a hint to the pandemic?
And ... Logan was born in 2007. Way to make me feel old!

I thought this was a pretty close adaptation to the book compared to some of the other episodes. I noticed Andrew was recast. Wonder why?

Made me cry. Shannon the pup!
Watson is sweet and the actor plays him well. They all do. Watching Alicia Silverstone takes me back to childhood watching Clueless over and over.
Loved the Leonard Cohen reference haha.
