The fashion threads for the BSC members are pretty popular. Who has some favorite outfits of Karen, Pamela, or any other 2nd grader who dressed better than me?

I was bored and ended up going through all the little sister covers looking for some cute outfits from the covers. And just some general comments too I suppose:
I like Amanda’s matching outfit on the cover of 19 and Karen looks cute too.
Bobby looks really handsome on the cover of book 31 and Andrew on book 48 (even though he looks depressed). Nancy steals the show with her hair though, I wish my hair was like that.
Pamela's dress is cute on the cover of book 37 and her outfit on book 54.
The news girl hats on the cover of book 40.
Hannie's outfit on book 53.
Karen's outfit on book 66, 69, 76, and 97 simple but cute.

I am going to start paying attention to outfit descriptions more when I read. However, this cover caught my eye tonight. I like what I can see of Karen's lavender Dalmatian outfit, although the socks pulled up so high over the leggings is a choice. I thought that Natalie looked cute until I zoomed in closer and decided she may be wearing a full denim jumpsuit. Ricky's dressed like a dweeb, but I like his bat kite.  |

I loved Amanda’s outfit on the cover of Kittycat Club. Thought it was the coolest outfit I’d ever seen at seven. Same for all of Pamela’s outfits in Sleepover.

When we first meet Pamela, all the girls are blown away by how sophisticated she is because her older sister lets her borrow her perfume XD

Karen's New Year had a cool outfit: "a very short skirt, a big sweater that says BE COOL on it, and a pair of knee socks with snowflakes all over them." There is an illustration of her sitting down. The very short skirt is loose and almost reaches her knees, so it isn't as scandalous as it sounds.

Karen had three simple party outfits in Karen's birthday.
School party: a baggy shirt, red-and-white-striped skirt. She wore a red ribbon in her hair and black party shoes.
Little House fancy party: fancy yellow dress, yellow ribbons in her hair
Circus party: blue jeans and unicorn sweat shirt

Karen had a cute Valentine outfit in Karen's Secret Valentine.
Red turtleneck, red-and-white plaid kilt, white sweater vest, white tights with little hearts on them, red ribbon in her hair. (She didn't mention her black party shoes, but she wore them for every fancy occasion.)

Karen's concert outfit in Karen's Tuba was stylish yet casual. A new sweater that looked like an Easter egg, stretchy black pants, fancy black slip-on shoes, green ribbon in her hair. She stressed that the shoes did not have straps to stay on.
I was intrigued by the Easter egg sweater description, but the picture on the front cover is just a pink sweater with purple and yellow splotches on it. In my head it was more of a tie-dye or ombre effect.

Karen's Farm Camp outfit in Karen's County Fair was cute and really not farmy. Overalls, a blue-and-white striped T-shirt, red sneakers, and a bright green bandanna in her hair. (I know a lot of farmers. I don't know a lot of overall wearers.)

Karen had to pick her special outfit for her field trip to NYC in Karen's Dinosaur. She wanted to wear a party dress but sensibly chose jeans and a shirt. She picked from three shirts. #1, a Stoneybrook High School sweatshirt that Charlie had given to her. #2, a shirt with a picture of New York City on it. #3, a shirt with a picture of a cat's face on the front and a cat tail on the back. She went with #2.
