Is there any books that mention the BSC's extended family members? I was thinking about Abby in Wonderland when she talks about her family tree but we never really learn much about the other BSC's family. I don't think we really know about any of their families besides Abby.
For Kristy, aside from her mothers family: I can think of her mentioning Patrick's mother twice and her grandfather once to say he's dead. She has a cousin Robin right and an uncle Ray?
Claudia, what does her dad's family look like? I think he has a sister or something in the friends forever series right?
Stacey has aunts and uncles from Maureen and Ed and their kids. Has her grandparents ever come up?
Mary Anne's parents are both only children and we know her mother's parents. What about Richard's parents?
Dawn, her mother's side is mentioned a few times. What about Jack's family?
Any of the others? I know Mallory has an uncle Joe and her mothers cousins I believe is brought up. Jessi's mom? I'm trying to think, does anyone have anything else I might have forgotten?

I remember reading that Jessi's cousin Keisha was her best friend in New Jersey. For Kristy, were any of the kids in Kristy's Big Day her relatives?
This is a really interesting question. Extended families don't get many mentions, but that seems weird to me because I have cousins popping up everywhere in real life. I have a big family but still, I would think even small families would appear sometimes.

Yes, Keisha was Jessi's best friend in NJ and she appeared in at least two books I can think of - Dawn and the Big Sleepover and BSC in the USA.
Mallory's Uncle Joe who lived in the nursing home was in Mallory's Christmas Wish and I think he was in at least one other book. He's her great-uncle.
Most of the kids in Kristy's Big Day were her cousins - Ashley, Berk, Grace, Peter (the Millers) and Luke, Emma and Beth (the Meiners). Their moms are Elizabeth's sisters Theo and Colleen. Kristy writes a Christmas card to the Millers in the Secret Santa book but apart from that, we never hear from any of them again.
I think in Mary Anne Saves the Day she says her grandparents on Richard's side are both dead.

I would say that it’s odd that none of them really had family in town except that I grew up the same way. But there’s seven of them and one of me. There should have been a cousin floating around SMS somewhere.

Karen's Angel, Watson's mom "Neena" called on Christmas. She got no lines, just a one sentence mention that she called.

The grandparents in that family are Neena and Nannie? Hahaha.

Haha. I’ve never heard Neena used before as a grandma name. It’s cute, but it’s like Nina, an actual name. That’s why I can’t get behind Gigi as a grandma name, because it can be a person’s name. Neena is probably something Ann called a grandparent.

Watson's aunt and uncle write a letter to him in the Shadow Lake Super Special. They want to leave the house to him in their will and invite him to bring the family to go and check it out

Karen's Big Sister, Watson had a distant cousin named Louisa who died and left a diamond brooch to him in her will. ETA: The rich get richer. Watson cleans up when other people die.

I work with a Chinese woman who goes by Mimi only spelled "MeMe". She has her real, Chinese name and apparently an English name that she also uses. I have never heard anyone call her anything but MeMe.

Lisa (Karen's mom) had a sister named Ellen. Ellen had two kids, Diana and Kelsey. (Kelsey switched genders? He was a boy in Karen's Easter Parade.) Karen also mentioned an aunt Carol.

Ms. Colman (Karen's teacher) had a mom named Dorothy Colman. She lived in Chicago. (Why didn't she hang out with the Engles when they lived in Chicago?! "I miss my favorite teacher gigundoly much, but I get to spend time with her mommy while I am here!")

Morbidda Destiny had a brother named Mr. Wizard. He was a famous magician. His real name wasn't mentioned. Oddly, Karen did not freak out over these magical siblings.
