Who would have a smartphone addiction?

So who do you think would have a smartphone addiction?

For some reason, I'm thinking Abby. She references procrastinating a lot in her books (and does seem easily distracted), I can see her using (and making) memes a lot, and on bad allergy/ asthma days, that's a way to pass the time. She also seems to get bored pretty easily, so I can see her reaching for the phone when she's bored.

No one else really seems like they'd get addicted aside from Claudia and Mallory (both for seeking inspiration for art and writing respectively). Maybe Stacey, too, mostly for messaging and possibly YouTube (lots of beauty channels, "haul" videos, and math content. Claud might get into YouTube as well).

Shannon and Jessi would be too busy for it. Kristy as well, but she would update Facebook a lot (business, family outings, carnivals, etc). For some reason, I see Mary Anne having a flip phone forever lol.

Just realized that most social media sites have an age minimum of 13. Weird to think of. Jessi and Mal would complain about their parents not getting them a smartphone lol.

I could actually see Mary Anne getting addicted. She could be more herself online without fear of being judged.

My first thought was Kristy. She's already a shameless BSC promoter and having a platform would take it next level. She'd be posting about her life as a female CEO, always talking about how everyone has 24 hours a day but the early bird gets the worm. #girlboss #riseandgrind #noexcuses

Stacey would be an influencer too. She likes being the most upscale dresser in town and she'd be one of those rich kids doing GRWM videos showing off designer brands. She also has access to things most people can't afford, like Broadway tickets and reservations at fancy NYC restaurants, so sometimes her outfits will be swanky.

I think Mallory and Claudia would also be on their phones a lot. They're both content creators and they would solicit feedback from their respective communities online.

Smartphone specifically or the Internet in general? (I'm pretty addicted to the Internet but rarely use my phone.) Maybe Logan could get addicted to online sports betting when he got older.

Smartphones and the internet are synonymous for me. I don't even have a personal computer anymore so I do everything on my phone, or my work laptop if I happen to be at my desk.

I'll have a desktop until they stop making them. I like the keyboard and the mouse, and I'm not adding a real keyboard or mouse to a laptop because that is stupid to me. To me smartphones = apps. I don't like apps. I am a really, really late adopter of technology if you can't tell.

I prefer using my laptop over my cell phone for the internet since the screen is bigger. That being said, I prefer using my cell phone for apps, such as Discovery+ since it's easier to find the episode I want to watch.

You can download the Discovery+ app to your Chromebook if you prefer the app but want a larger screen. I bought my Chromebook pretty much to stream my shows. I still prefer going off of the web pages because they use less battery life than running an app.

I actually have downloaded Discovery+ to my Chromebook. Maybe I'll watch some The UnXplained episode on it I've been meaning to watch. I really have to get back into streaming again.
