Hmm, the cover says Camp Moosehead, but the description says Camp Mohawk. The girls are doing Joey Gladstone Bulwinkle hands on the cover, so I'm guessing they changed it?

Was that the name from the Netflix show when they go to camp? I'm wondering if they changed it because Camp Mohawk is an inappropriate use of a Native American term. Like how high schools are changing mascot names that use Native American names and imagery.

Yes, correct. They changed the camp name to Moosehead in the Netflix show. I'm ok with changes in the show or graphic novels because they are new adaptations. This is just a reprint of an old book. Outdated, offensive stuff is part of history IMO. Haha, Judy Blume did a lot of interviews this spring, and she scoffed at the thought of changing old work. (Although, she did update things before. She's like 80 so maybe she forgot. )

I'm all for changing names when the times move on. (I say this as a Chiefs fan and someone who's high school mascot was the Indian). It's one thing to acknowledge outdated history and learn from it, but another thing to actively celebrate it by chanting "go Indians" and doing the tomahawk chop. I'd love my team no matter what the name is, and it could be worse. We could have Josh McDaniels as a head coach.
Claudia stands out like a sore thumb on this cover.

It’s interesting to me because I live in an area with a high Native American population. One of the high schools is also the Chiefs mascot, and the Natives are very pro-keeping the name.
I don’t care, really. I’ll have my old copy with all the teepee clothes references. Lol.

The updated name is good. I just wish they kept the original iconic dance pose (for the life of me, I cannot find via Google what this dance is called! But you know what I mean).

They’re dancing? They look like they’re drunk and trying to walk down the sidewalk together. Are they doing the Radio City Rockettes kick?

It was so cool how Netflix recreated the original cover in that episode. It's iconic and I also wish they kept it for the new cover.

It was so cool how Netflix recreated the original cover in that episode. That was such a neat and nostalgic thing to do.

I love that Claudia is the only one not wearing a uniform, but, uh, wouldn't she get in trouble?
