I don't like how they show so few of the kids, especially because they look so cute. The best part of the original was that we saw the entire class. I like that they kept Karen's outfit the same. The girl in front with the peace sign looks like she has tie-dyed hair.

I wish there was more kids on the cover too sparklymouse. I was looking at my old cover trying to guess who everyone was. Here there's not much guessing to do. I wonder who these kids even are? I know from previous covers Hannie is cut off on the far right. The redhead girl with braid is Nancy? Omar Harris is in green in he front. Ricky is next to Karen. The others are new to me.

That's a lot of ethnic diversity for a town where Jessi is the only black person in her grade. I appreciate it, but I don't remember if there were actually this many non-white students at Karen's school.
