I've read a few Little Sister books lately and I can't help but notice that Karen's friendships with Hannie and Nancy can be fickle sometimes. Like Hannie is the first to ditch her friends at like camp and get in fights with Karen (still remember that fist fight haha). Nancy seems clingy and Karen doesn't like change too much (like Kristy). I can't help but think that as soon as they're not in the same class or some random summer they're going to outgrow each other.
What do you think of the three musketeers friendship? Do you think that they'll be friends forever?

I said something similar recently in one of the camp book threads. Hannie always thrived in away-from-home experiences. Karen liked to experience new things but on her terms. She often wanted to follow a schedule while the other two were like "nah..." Nancy's interests seemed much more limited compared to the other two. I feel like Hannie would have to ditch the other two eventually or they would hold her back from doing cool things.

Just based on their ages, I think it would be really unlikely they stay friends. They have 10 years before college and they will be different people by then. My bestie since first grade and I aren't really friends anymore. We changed a lot and now we just text on birthdays.

I was thinking that they'd break up by middle school, haha.
We've had a lot of debate over the years about the BSC members and the same type of questions. It's like, how many people from 8th grade do you still hang out with, and why do you think these fictional girls would be so different? Facebook does not count.
