Did any of of the clients dislike a particular sitter?

Such as, did Jenny ever complain that she didn't like Kristy sitting for her? Or the Rodowskys hate it when Stacey came over or something?

There were some instances, but they were all pretty fleeting, and usually because the kid was going through something. The one example I can think of (that isn't the Lowells, which imo don't count) is in Dawn and the Impossible Three. Mary Anne sits for the Barretts instead, and Buddy gets mad at her because she sent him to his room. This is kind of a grey area tbh, but it's the closest example I can think of. I know he preferred Dawn (come to think of it, Dawn was pretty popular among clients. Nicky told her she was his favorite in #9, Norman Hill was disappointed that she wasn't his sitter, etc).

It seemed that, later down the line, the clients didn't really have favorites (aside from Charlotte and Stacey) or least favorites. This is so unrealistic and you're right. I can believe the Pikes taking to everybody because they tend to be very open-minded kids, but I can imagine Jenny not liking Kristy much like you suggested.

I haven't read it yet, but isn't this what Keep Out, Claudia is about? I'm pretty sure it's about racism, but I haven't gotten my hands on yet. I also remember people being racist to Jessi at first too.

Yes, the Lowell kids learned to be racist from their parents. Very sad.

It doesn’t seem like any sitters were particularly disliked, which is really unrealistic. Teens aren’t perfect and little kids are mean. lol

Don't remind me lol  . I was a volunteer in a special ed daycare, and I tried to explain to my mom the other day that a little kid smiling at you is the biggest compliment you can receive.  Might seem lame to some, but I'd take it any day over a "you look nice".

Stacey and the Delaneys clashed. They thought she was weird and she refused to entertain their classist nonsense.

There are some pairings that probably aren't anyone's favorites but also aren't explicitly called out. I'm guessing the Pike triplets didn't love when Mary Anne was the sitter, and Jenny P probably didn't have much in common with Claudia. I wish we had the scene where Jenny and Claudia argue about clothes.

Not really, since the books are written in the Baby-Sitters' POV.

But if it written in a client's PoV, I can see Jenny not caring that much about Kristy and Claudia.

If I were one of the ten-year-old Pike triplets, I would definitely not like it if my eleven-year-old sister or her best friend of the same age baby-sat for me! Did they ever complain about having baby-sitters that were only one year older than them? Because that is ridiculous!

They complained about having to listen to her (which is fair) but they never complained about her cleaning up all their messes and making their food. The Pikes are raising yet another generation of men who don't know how to take care of themselves.

If Jenny or the Prezziosos knew about how the other girls would make faces and scream EW EW EW EW when they called, they would definitely prefer Mary Anne!
