I like the Papadakises OK, except for Hannie in "Karen's Haircut." I thought it was interesting that they were always described as so down-to-earth and normal while the rest of the people in the neighborhood were considered snobs. Kristy thought the Kilbournes were snobs at first, and the Delaneys were also considered snobs. But the other people we heard about from Kristy's neighborhood really weren't bad. The Kilbournes turned out to be nice, the Kormans were nice, Bart Taylor and his family were nice, and even the kids that Kristy went around recruiting to be on the Krushers that one time were all fine. Heck, even eccentric Mrs. Porter was perfectly nice. So who were all these other people that were supposed to be snobs, besides the Delaneys? I always liked the Lou McNally storyline. Too bad the Papdakises didn't take in other foster kids, but I'm sure the reason they never did was because a book had already been done on it, thus using up the plot device.

I really like Hannie in her Little Sister Super Special chapters. She seems like such a little space cadet. I think it's so funny how much she dislikes Sari in them.
I don't have a strong opinion of Linny. I wish we'd gotten a few more David Michael/Linny plot lines instead of David Michael/Karen/Andrew/Emily ones. I assume David Michael kept living even when Karen wasn't around. It would have been nice to see his friend once in a while.

The Papadakises seemed like a very friendly family, so maybe they introduced themselves (or the Thomas-Brewers did) very quickly? Making Kristy think the other families in the neighborhood who didn't weren't welcoming, or arrogant.

Plus, Karen was already getting to be friends with Hannie since they were in the same class at school, which probably helped the Thomases get to know the Papadakises better. That's something that didn't occur to me.

Hannie always reminds me of Molly from the original movie of "Annie".

The Papadakis kids were always very sweet. I liked reading from Hannie's point of view. She seemed to be a fun outgoing person. That's something her and Karen had in common.

I think that Linny is one of my favourite charges. In fact, when I was younger and reading the BSC I think I even had a crush on him (I'm a guy). He's 9, and I was probably the same age when I first started reading the series, so it makes sense. Not as if I like him now -- that way -- in my adult life. However, I think that adult Linny would be hot (love the Greek background with the dark features), athletic and smart.

i think i might be the only one who doesn't love them. linny and sari don't bother me (i honestly don't have an opinion at all) but hannie annoys me. i think it's because she's friends with karen and is always going along with some dumb idea. mr and mrs papadakis seem really great and i really love them, but their kids bored me.

HAHAHA I think I said on these boards like five years ago that I felt like a creeper saying it, but Linny probably would grow up to be hot!
I personally like Hannie, if only because she was a massive b*tch to Karen when she got that mullet and that amused me. Nancy is my least favorite Musketeer because she is so d**n boring. At least Karen does annoying nuts you can hate on her for.

I really like Hannie because she's not afraid to stand up to Karen...I would have been more of a Nancy, but Hannie got right in there with the hair-pulling lol.
And she really, really likes to read (see LS SS #4) which I think first drew me to her.

Sari was the most interesting of all the forever toddlers. I liked when she played ring around the rosie with Emily and whoever the second sitter was. I remember Kristy took a group of boys to play softball while someone else watched Emily, Sari, and possibly one other kid. I wish she had gotten to grow older, even a tiny bit. Linny seemed like a fun little boy and good friend for David Michael. Lol, he might indeed have grown up hot. Jeff, if he looked the way he did on the cover of Dawn on the Coast, but much older, he for sure would be quite handsome.
