Eh, it's a little more "country farmhouse" than I pictured Watson's house to be. I see his place as more "generic American McMansion."

I know that on a logical level, but I can't get rid of the picture I've had in my head since I was a kid!

^Maybe she did, Greer! That is definitely a different sort of blog but interesting and funny, too! I never got to know our Marilyn or Carolyn much, maybe I'll have to give one of their books a read.

Kind of a sad one, but I just read that Elaine Stritch died. She guest starred on Derek Masters' show in SS#5, and Terry ended up with her autograph.

^ Me, too...I wonder if they had to get her permission? Another reference: I ate kale today, and it made me think of Dawn. I think she tells Norman Hill in #50 that she likes it, and he calls her weird. I had it in a smoothie with a bunch of other stuff, so the verdict is still out on whether I could eat it on its own or not!

I told my friend (who is a vegetarian) about Dawn's salad creation in Ghost at Dawn's House: cottage cheese, pineapple, peaches and coconut shavings. She sent me a text recently to let me know that she made it herself and how much she enjoyed it.

^It's always sounded good to me. Although I haven't had cottage cheese since I was a kid and don't know how much I would like it now. Woo hoo...100 pages of daily references

okay so when Elaine Stritch died, I of course immediately thought of her appearance in California Girls. I've always wondered why Elaine Stritch, since it would have been easy just to make up an actress and Elaine Stritch is obviously not someone the kids in the target audience would have known at all. BUT then today I as was doing my weekly BSC news roundup for my blog, I remembered that Ann's sister is in the entertainment industry. Turns out she was Woody Allen's assistant on September, which Elaine Stritch starred in. So I'm wondering if Elaine just thought it would be cool for her nieces to read, or something.

I wonder what Ann and Jane thought of the recent Woody Allen controversy.

If you google Jane Martin Woody Allen, lots of stuff about how she testified on his behalf in the 1992 trial comes up. She said Mia treated the kids badly and was violent.

I had French toast and bacon for breakfast today; it made me think of Mary Anne making that for herself in #60 and Dawn telling her it was gross. Yesterday I was talking about BSC with someone at work and she was impressed at how much I knew about the series I was halfway tempted to tell her about this place but I decided I didn't want people I know in real life coming on here and seeing my posts, haha.
