And to get us back onto a topic...
I love this thread, it's hilarious. I always came up with crazy background stories for my barbies, so why not BSC members? (and their clients, if anyone read my one and only fanfiction that I really need to go work on)
For a while I was thinking that Elizabeth is why Watson and Lisa/Sheila broke up. Does anyone think they dated for a while before Kristy even met him? I do. If I had kids I probably wouldn't introduce them to my children for a long, long time.

^I wouldn't introduce my kids right away either, but I also wouldn't do what Elizabeth did. I got the impression from Kristy's Great Idea that Watson hadn't been around that long, and then it was "Hey, we're engaged!" At least let the kids get to know the guy before they have to move in with him.

^I've met some of my mother's dates on their 1st date, which was horribly awkward and embarrassing for both me and the guys. My mom? Either didn't notice or didn't care.

Didn't Jack also get married to Carol soon after Dawn met her?
On the scandalous secrets topic, I like the Richard Spier theory, where he fathered all the doubled named kids in Stoneybrook. It fits right in with why Patrick left the family so soon after David Michael was born.
And why do parents need baby-sitters so often? How much is there to do in Stoneybrook anyways?

Maybe they just all really hate their kids and try to get away from them as much as possible? ;D

Also more on the Richard theory. In the Graphic Novel Elizabeth, Kristy, Sam and Charlie have light hair. Also Richard has black. So does David Michael............ haha... Looks like Kristy and MA are sisters after all.

No, they wouldn't be sisters, but they'd have the same brother (half-brother).

LOL, can you imagine? I had a fanfic idea about Elizabeth and Richard hooking up. I mean, they lived next door, Elizabeth was divorced, and Richard a widower. Their daughters were best friends, so I imagine they would have a fair bit of interaction. Though, I know if DM was Richard's, they would have hooked up before Patrick was out of the picture. Interesting theory, though. I kind of want to make a fanfic like that now (even though I saw that someone else made one, but you can have more than one, right? ) I wonder what MA and Kristy would think?! I think MA would be kind of .. mortified and Kristy would be angry at her mom and maybe more understanding of her father.

Also more on the Richard theory. In the Graphic Novel Elizabeth, Kristy, Sam and Charlie have light hair. Also Richard has black. So does David Michael............ But Kristy is a brunette. A mid brunette (not like a light brown or a dark brown, but a deep brown.) Say wuh?

Isn't Sam supposed to have dark, curly hair?

Kristy, Sam, and Charlie do all have dark hair in the graphic novels.

Do we know anything about Patrick's appearance?

We can go by the illustrations in Kristy's Portrait, which mysteriously look just like the actor who played him in the movie.

I suppose that makes some sense.

Wow, Layland, I'm impressed that you've never sworn at all. I don't like it either but I do it from time to time even so.
