Whenever I want to pretend that I'm rich and look at real estate on Zillow I see that mansions generally have more bathrooms than bedrooms. So, did Watson's house have like 15 bathrooms in it also?

I was doing some research about Watson's house before and the thing I think most people forget is that Watson's house is Victorian. So there's likely servants quarters that were eventually renovated into bedrooms (or the attic is still those). Or something like a drawing room was converted to a bedroom over time. This is a good article I found with all of the rooms www.chantelgraysonbooks.com/post/victorian-house-roomsNO matter how many rooms there are, I couldn't stand staying with them all the time. I'm not super introverted but d**n that would drive me crazy.

My house (admittedly not Victorian) has no extra rooms that aren't bedrooms. In fact we turned one bedroom into an office. I wish I had an orangery.

www.google.com/amp/s/www.oliveandjunehome.com/blog/100-year-old-victorian-mansion%3fformat=amp This one is beautiful! This is sort of what I picture when I think of Watson's house. I still think that the Stevenson house not quite being a mansion is confusing. Maybe Watson's is older, or maybe not all the houses in that neighborhood are mansions. This weird tidbit was only mentioned once, though. Why did I also just spend 20 minutes looking at mansions lol XD. I guess it is kind of fun. I agree, I would not stay with the Thomas-Brewers. Also, I'm guessing that the third floor is actually a ballroom or something similar, and it just never gets used.

I like the stained glass bathroom windows and would kill for a studio space, but I think I would be pretty miserable in that house. It's so brown and dark. Remember when Dawn says she will burn down the farmhouse by using super bright bulbs all the time? That would be me.
