I really like the Hobart boys. They are usually so polite and well behaved and sound so cute with their red hair. I especially enjoyed the subplot when they did the play with the Perkins girls. I posted about this on the Pike Triplets thread but was wondering if one of the reasons they behave differently than the Pikes and some of the other kids is because of different parenting. Maybe the Hobarts don't have the same attitude of "it is easier to let the kids do basically whatever because we have waaayyy too many to deal with" as the Pikes. I think Ben is really sweet too and enjoy his close relationship with his brothers. It's nice to see, like with Logan, a guy actually being good to his family instead of being "too cool" for them. Any thoughts on the Hobart boys?

I love them! I was just going to post on them after reading Stacey's Ex-Best Friend. Matthew and James are sooo cute in it. They're having the V-day party and the boys want to wear suits and bring flowers and invite dates cause that's what they've seen on TV. They're SO crushed when Jessi tells them other kids will be in jeans and stuff. It's so cute. They seem really sweet and well-behaved and I always feel bad for them when those a-hole boys like Mel Tucker pick on them. I like how they're always playing with the girls in the neighborhood, heh. Cute cute cute.
I don't really have much of an opinion on Ben. He seems waaay too dorky for my liking.

That's why he is perfect for Mal. I like the Hobarts, they seem like cute kids, I love their accents.

I always liked the Hobarts as well. They fascinated me because of their Australian accents and how polite they were. However they made me laugh in Mallory hates boys ( and gym) because of how their personalities seemed to switch when they got to the Pike household.

The little Hobart boys are so sweet and cute. (Though I haven't read Mallory Hates Boys and Gym)

You should read the book, its a classic, I like the play they put on with the Perkins girls in Dawn and the older boy.

I agree with everyone, the Hobarts were really cute! Well, except for Ben, I was never really into him. It didn't seem like the BSC really babysat them very much though, did it?

The BSC didn't seem to sit for Hobarts much. I especially liked them in the book with Logan. Sensing a lot of anti-Ben sentiment but I actually like him and never considered him all that dorky. I thought he was so sweet to Mallory.

I'm looking for pictures of the Hobart boys (already have the one on the cover of the Logan special). Also cute phrases/quotes that they have said (similar to Gabbie's "toshe me up" and Kuhns' "popcorn picnic") Any suggestions? Thanks.

What books are they most prominently featured in? I'd use some stereotypical "Aussie" pronounciation or word. I'm sure Ann threw loads of those in there!

I know they are in Kristy and the Secret of Susan. They are also in Logan's Story

Does it seem like Logan babysits more for the Hobarts than for any of the other charges, except maybe Hunter and Kerry? Maybe this is because it is all boys in the Hobart family. I know that even in books where an actual baby-sitting chapter of Logan at the Hobarts isn't included, metions at meetings of "we should give that job to Logan because we're so busy" usually involve jobs for the Hobarts. Maybe this is just my impression, though, after reading Logan's Story.

Yes. It seems like they tried to send Logan to the Hobarts and the Rodowskys whenever it was possible. I wouldn't have minded to sit for the Hobarts. They seemed so sweet.

I noticed that in Logans books mostly. He's almost always sitting for boys!
