Yep, actually he does! And Mrs. Pike's smile looks a bit forced

If my husband looked like that, I'd probably be pregnant all the time, too. That actually goes well with my theory about the Pike's needing Mallory to mind their kids all the time- obviously they go at it like bunnies and need all that time alone

I remember thinking the Pike family was so cool when I was younger. (maybe because it was such a large family, and I enjoy reading about large families) But now I still enjoy the family, although that they are very snarkable.

I've never disliked or especially liked the Pikes. I was always fairly neutral about them. It bothered me when the BSC sat for them only cause everything was so chaotic and that environment would drive me nuts, but I loved all the vacations and stuff they took... Sea City books are some of my favorites in the entire series. Which actually brings me to a new question... is Sea City Here We Come the last Sea City book? The series continues on for quite a bit after that, summer vacations at all, but no more trips to the shore?

In Abby in Wonderland, they create Sea City in Stoneybrook, because they had to fix the family car and couldn't afford to go to Sea City... If that counts

I am thinking about writing a Mr./Mrs. Pike story and I was wondering what is Dee's maiden name?

According to SS15, Mrs. Pike's name is/was Diana Bennett. (And Mr. Pike is Jonathan.)

Here's a scan of the family tree. You can see where some of the kids got their names.

Thanks, how come the three younger kids aren't on the tree?

they're not on the tree because the family tree book is out-of-date and was written before the younger pikes were born.

Oh, I see now, besides with a million kids running around, they probably couldn't update it.

it was compiled by mal's cousin in england, actually, so she didn't have that problem.
