Does Cokie have a heart? I'm re-reading 'Starring the Baby-sitters Club' and in Cokie's chapter:
Okay, I know that text is suggesting Cokie can't gloat because Dawn now has a bigger part than her, but do you think maybe that bit is just a quick addition to hide that she feels bad Dawn is disappointed? If you read just the 'I tried to gloat' and the next couple of sentences, it sounds like it.
... Yeah, I'm grasping at straws. I want to see Cokie as more three dimensional. Or are there books where she isn't just the evil enemy of the BSC, and I haven't read them?
