Good point
It doesn't sound like you have a particularly mainstream/conservative attitude and will probably have an alternative method of parenting which may (or may not, unfortunately) have an impact on your kids, so you never know ;D

I like Melody and Skylar. Mr. and Mrs. Korman certainly have a good taste in girls' names Some other clients had nice names too - Charlotte, Myriah and Sharelle(appears in Happy Holidays, Jessi) for example. And Gozzie Kunka is awesome, even if she's imagine :DDD From the sitters, Claudia was my absolute favourite name in the whole world as a kid, but I think it was just because she was my favourite characters. Claudia is a nice name thought, and so is her middle name Lynn. Sunshine Daydream does sound like a Mary Sue name, but I'm fond of the name Sunny, partly because a girl who was my best friend when I was younger called me "Sunny" - she said it was because of my sunny personality, and my real name's similarity to the name Sunny (my real name is Sanni, and I pronounce Sunny somewhat like "sani" )

Claudia is a nice name thought, and so is her middle name Lynn. Lynn has always struck me as one of those middle names you give to your kid when their first name just doesn't flow with anything else. I've known a Sabrina Lynn, a Victoria Lynn, and a Donna Lynne. My question - what the hell was up with Cokie Mason? I think it was a nickname (wasn't her real name like, Marguerite or something?) but why would anyone voluntarily go by Cokie? Sheesh.

I always wondered why on earth she went by Cokie, too. I mean she could have been called Maggie or something. Where did Cokie come from?

Well she must have gotten the nickname before she started school, since she's in one of the portraits. Maybe she couldn't say cookie? Of course, she's probably not the type of person who want to keep a nickname with an embarrassing origin.

Maybe she did cocaine? Lol. Seriously, it was probably some cutesy nickname a relative gave to her.

Ooh I forgot about Astrid. I LOOOOOOOOVE that name. I would name my future child Astrid! And dumb old Kristy thinks its a boys name in Kristy and the Snobs.

I like Astrid too. Been reading Starring the BSC and I like the names Savannah Minton and Lucas Danver.

Lucas is really nice! Oh and even though it's from the movie, I love Luca.

omg I love Luca too. It's actually on my list of favorite baby names (yes I have a list). Actually there's a couple BSCish names on there: Astrid, Amalia, Anastacia. Okay I guess there's only 4, but still.

I always thought it was sort of strange that Kristy would be called that...IMO, "Kristy" is a cute, perky name for someone a lot girlier than her character ever was. Especially growing up with all those brothers, and being such a tomboy, I would imagine her as a "Kris."
On a similar note, I can't figure out why she'd get so upset if someone called her full-out Kristin...A, it's not a bad name, and B, "Kristy" and "Kristin" are practically identical-sounding. WTF?

Maybe she dislikes the letter N. But I agree, Kristin's a pretty name. Maybe that's why?

Yeah, Kristy is quite a perky name. It's like if she wanted to use her middle name Amanda, but have everyone call her Mandy. Kristin sounds more tomboyish to me.

I always wondered why she hated Kristin as well! Mostly cause my name is Kristen, hah. I always wished she spelled it the same as me. Anyway, I hated my name as a kid, I thought it was really boyish. I thought it was weird she went by Kristy cause no one EVER called me that even once. I got Kris and Krissy but not Kristy. I hate the name Kris though, so I'm glad Kristy didn't go by that. Anyway, I remember reading somewhere that Kris/Chris-girl names were really popular in the 80s... Kristy, Christine, Kristin, Crystal, etc. Kristy does seem pretty 80s, but it's waaaay better than Mandy imo. Mandy always sounded like a dogs name to me, I have no clue why.
