^Welcome aboard. I've always pronounced Kuhn like Racoon. Koon. Yup.

I pronounce Kuhn as 'Carn' but with a softer 'r'.

I was guilty of the usual "Spy-er" and "Myria" (like myriad minus the D) pronunciations. And Shea rhymed with dear in my head. But that aside, I don't remember stumbling over names like Prezzioso.
I usually pronounce Papadakis as Pah-p(schwa)-DAY-kiss. Only we had a Greek teacher whose name ended with -kis and she told us she pronounced it -key. So perhaps Papadakis is the same?

I was lucky enough to read the series with my Grandma growing up. She would always pronounce the names correctly and so it helped me to do it too. I remember her breaking down "Papadakis" for me specifically.

And Shea rhymed with dear in my head. I couldn't figure out how that was even possible until I remembered that you're Australian. It works with your accent, but not mine.

I pronounced Sean (Addison) as "seen" until I saw a Street Fighter character with the same name that was pronounced as "shawn."

^I think I pronounced Sean as See-Ann. I pronounced Seth as Seeth (long e) and Spier as Spyer. I guess S names were hard for me.

I pronounced Johanssen as "Yohanssen". Isn't that correct, technically? I know "Johan" is pronounced that way.

Isn't that correct, technically? I know "Johan" is pronounced that way. ^ Man, I wish we could ask Charlotte. I am sure that as an American family, they'd pronounce it with a J sound at the beginning. The person I knew who said "Johan" like "Yohan" had a Swedish father.
