Sam and maybe Logan? Charlie was cool too, but a bit old.

I totally agree about Sam and Alan, sotypical. I didn't think Sam was funny at all in Shadow Lake, he was soooo annoying! I hated how Stacey eventually fell for him at the end.
I did think that Mary Anne and Logan seemed like a perfect couple, and very romantic, but I don't think I ever really had a "crush" on Logan.

I didn't have an crushes as a kid but now might go for Logan, Alan, Ben, or Alex (if they were way older or I was way younger ;D)

Ooh, Jeff and the Pike triplets! I also had a thing going on for ol' Austin Bentley, probably because of his name.

here's the thing about austin bentley... they always joked about how he was named after two cars. this always confused me when i was little because i had never heard of an austin or a bentley. anyway, bentley has not become more popular, what with all the rappers driving them and all. but according to wikipedia, austins haven't been manufactured since 1952. how would any kid in stoneybrook know about austins unless they were superobsessed with cars?

I had heard of a Bentley, but never an Austin, and thought that mention was so weird. That is even weirder to know it was such an old car!

I always thought that was weird too! I'd heard of Bentleys but not an Austin. But these girls did like a lot of things from the '50s (music and movies), so I guess that's how they knew. Is Austin featured prominently in any of the books? I don't think I ever knew enough about him to consider him crush-worthy.

well both claud and stacey go to dances with him occasionally, and he's viewed as a "cool guy" at sms, but there's no real character development.

I think subconsciously I had a crush on Charlie when I was a kid. I am not really 100 percent sure why, could be the older guy thing, hehe.

Bart!!! He sounded so dreamy with his guitar. Plus, I think I subconsciously decided that since Kristy was the club member least interested in boys, if Bart made her weak, he must have been seriously cute. Similarly, I somehow got it in my head that Stacey would fall in luv with anyone.

^ Bart had a guitar? I missed that. I never liked him, though (maybe because of the name), but can see why others might. Personal preference since I actually like Alan (again, don't ask me why) ;D

Oh yeah, Bart was in a band I'd have liked to see that mentioned more often.

^ He was? Where was that mentioned? I must have missed it.
Mine would have to be Ben. Just seemed reliable, which is about all.
