I had no idea Bart was in a band. I can't picture him with a guitar! He's always seemed kind of dorky to me.

I think Bart brings up his band in Kristy's Mystery Admirer, which is funny because I generally ignored that book when cultivating my crush on him as a kid.

he is so creepy in that book! no thirteen year old boy should say "i love you" except to his mom.

I agree, he was sooo over the top in that book! When I was in 5th grade my "boyfriend" once wrote "I love Kari" over and over and over again filling up the front & back of a piece of paper. He was also quite over the top. lol!
It's especially weird because Kristy and Bart are not lovey-dovey at all except for that one instance by Bart. I could see Logan writing those kinds of creepy notes to Mary Anne, but not Bart to Kristy.

^ Those notes sounded totally out of character for Bart. He always seemed like the kind of guy who would punch a girl in the arm to show he liked her ;D

The only character I ever had something of a crush on was Wes. Even now I kind of like him, even though he dealt VERY badly with Stacey. Also, I just erase the Tom Cruise comparison from my mind and picture him looking completely different

^ I just read Big Crush today and agree about kind of liking Wes ;D I was completely sympathizing with Stacey this time when I read it instead of thinking how pathetic she was being ;D I don't mind Tom Cruise but picture Wes being a bit taller and not looking much like him.

I like Wes too! Esp cause I'm going to school to be a teacher. Although I am 2 yrs older than Wes now, lol. I actually have to observe a classroom in a week or so and the teacher is a guy, maybe he'll be dreamy like Wes

Now, though, I'm just as likely to like some of the younger guys (if I was their age - I don't like guys younger than me ;D)Sotypical, what is your teaching degree in? Sometimes the field impacts how "dreamy" the teacher tends to be ;D

Stacey.
Although if Cary Retlin had been in the books when I was younger, I think I would have had a childhood crush on him, too.
