I didn't read Anne Frank's unedited diary either. I'm not sure that I want to either. I feel like there are somethings that should remain private.

I feel the same way. She went through puberty during the worst possible circumstances and had no friends. Of course she was going to write about sex. I can appreciate that the editors took those passages out, but reading her diary at all still feels really invasive.

I think it was her dad who decided that those parts wouldn't be published. I can't say that I blame him or whoever it was that chose not to publish her discovering puberty.
