Anyone ever notice that she is portrayed in the series as 2 people? A kid and a teen? In 'Little Miss Stonybrook and Dawn' she is the little pagent kid who wins. In other books (one I can think of is Mary Anne's Makeover) she is in school with the girls.
Hmmm?

Oh, I noticed! One of the many inconsistencies!

And one of the weirdest. I mean, it's not like it's a common name or something. How could they forget/do this?

Someone wrote a fic about that, The Mystery of Sabrina Bouvier. It was on ff.net, but I think it might be gone now.

I agree with inge and starrynight. Sabrina Bouvier was the only one not stuck in the BSC Land timewarp.

i remember thinking that sabrina was the same person that grew older, from the book with the pagaent and then when dawn saw her at the movies with that hot guy carlos or whatever and when she complimented MA on her makeover.
then someone said that the ghostwriters made an error and named 2 characters exactly the same name. how dumb were they? kind of like the 2 ryan dewitts also (the one in cali and one of franklins kids)

^ Two little boys named Ryan isn't far fetched, but what are the odds of them both being DeWitts?
The weirdest thing about the Sabrina Bouvier thing is that Ann wrote Little Miss Stoneybrook... and Dawn. The ghostwriter must've gotten the name from there, but why they'd use it again for a kid in 8th grade is just bizarre.

Where did Sabrina Bouvier first appear as Sabrina the Middle Schooler? She appears quite often in the series.

I don't see that much wrong with two Ryan Dewitts (though I think it was an oversight on the part of the authors). I know several people who share the same names, first and last, but do admit that Dewitt isn't terribly common. Sabrina Bouvier isn't common at all but I suppose it's possible that she could have been two different people. Very doubtful though - those darn inconsistancies.

Where did Sabrina Bouvier first appear as Sabrina the Middle Schooler? She appears quite often in the series. Was it "Claudia and the Middle School Mystery"? I think she was one of Shawna Riverson's friends. I could be wrong. I'm SURE she was in "Mary Anne's Makeover" though.

They could be sisters whose parents didn't bother thinking up a different name. With a name like that, one of them's bound to make it big.

I know several people who share the same names, first and last, but do admit that Dewitt isn't terribly common. Yeah, that's my problem with it. If the name was Ryan Williams or Ryan Brown, it would be totally acceptable. If they deliberately gave two characters the same very uncommon name, wouldn't the narrator make a point of it? I definitely think this was just another oversight/inconsistency. Yeah, I think that's where I remember first reading about her.
