aln's av is from the picture at the top of the board, so she's leaning on Jessi Word about director's chairs not being comfy!

I have a directors chair too! It's not comfy. My cat won't let me get rid of it though. I looked at the taller ones, and realized that they cost upwards of $100 and all i can think is.. why? They aren't particularly comfortable or stylish.

I never would have bought them for myself but won them as awards at the horse shows. After a while, it was like "not another chair". I never did get a tall one (and never wanted one) but some people won them and were really, really excited about them. We used to make fun of them for setting them up at the shows and making a big deal about sitting in their "tall chairs." That's what I think every time I read about Kristy in her director's chair. ;D

I inherited mine. Seriously, the cat will not let me get rid of it. She's sitting on it now, giving me the evil eye, probably because I'm considering throwing it away.

^ ;D Thinking about Booboo's earlier comment about me "leaning on Jessi" makes me think of how supportive Jessi is in the BSC books. Even as she recognizes Kristy's faults, she still looks up to her and respects her. I can kind of see how in a way, Kristy (and the club) does "lean on Jessi" (The strange things I think of in the middle of the night sometimes..... ;D)

Turtle necks are SO ugly. I HATED how Kristy always wore the same outfit. So stupid. At least say she wears like, a t-shirt in jeans, why a turtle neck?! Gross. Kristy/Bart made no sense. I can't imagine any boy having a crush on her. i guess turtle necks were the style back then???

If it's a bit cooler, you might want the one rather than the other.

i'd rather just wear a scarf than an icky turtleneck. turtleneck/cowl neck sweaters are cute though.
