I enjoyed them too, because I hate Logan with the passion of a thousand fiery suns.

That's probably part of my hatred for him too. I always date very... interesting people. Logan seemed like such a stereotypical future frat boy.
I do find his family dynamic interesting though. It seemed more dysfunctional than other Stoneybrook families. Kerry was messed up, Lyman was controlling, Mrs. Bruno was totally submissive, Logan was controlling like his dad... Shannon had a messed up family too. Jeez, what is it about being an associate member that destroys your family?!

Was Logan actually good at sports or was he one of those guys who was on a lot of teams but spent a lot of time on the bench? Like in Mary Anne and the Search for Tigger, wasn't he acting like an a-hole because he was in danger of being cut from the baseball team?

He was good at volleyball. It seemed to me that in Search, he was being uncharacteristically unathletic and having an "off" season, hence his a-holeness.

He was good at track, wasn't he? I know he made the team and I remember something about him setting a record.

^ Isn't volleyball usually a girl's sport? That's all we had when I was in school, although they wouldn't have denied a boy the chance to try out/play if one had wanted to.

^Yeah, my school didn't have a boys' volleyball team. Only girls.
The name Lyman always makes me think of Lyme disease.

I think it's the name of one of Ann's actual relatives.

I think internationally it's more of a unisex sport.

The name Lyman makes me think of that annoying friend of Jon's from earlier Garfield cartoons who stopped appearing in the comic after a few years.

Lyman, to me, reminds me of Lyman Hall, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
