^ arboretum I can understand. Itβs sabotage that I can see. Right? Charlotte's a gifted genius but she has to ask Jessi what those words mean?

I mean I wouldn't call Charlotte a genius lol. I could see her asking to know things still.

I guess I was always under the impression that Charlotte was Karen-level smart because she also skipped a grade and we always heard from the sitters about that. Then again, Karen may be super intelligent but she also has dumb moments LOL.

I kind of get that vibe as far as equal intelligence, but they are different ages too. So I guess I would say I picture Karen's intelligence to be where Charlotte's was at that age, both of them are in the xxx percentile for their age, etc.
But as far as maturity, they are in different worlds. Charlotte was sweet and nice and I love her chapters, and Karen literally makes me roll my eyes.

I'm glad that Charlotte did have some immature moments though! I liked that she was whiny in book 35.

Sorry if these have been mentioned but I'm NOT reading 93 pages ! Mary Anne wanted to wear a pink dress for her dads wedding in book 30-I just read this and in no for she stated that she can't stand pink . The ghosties forget Charlotte has a dog named Carrot Yeah, I just listened to the audiobook of #25 Mary Anne and the Search for Tigger where they say that Charlotte doesn't have any pets. I didn't want to read 94 pages to check if it was mentioned, but I did read the last two pages of the thread.

Here's another weird one, in Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic, the town was founded in 1791 and yet celebrated 250 in Graduation Day. That means the series is placed in 2041. Maybe the ghosties should have stopped putting in numbers in the series and just rely on what Ann wrote.

Now I've listened to the audiobook of Claudia and the Sad Good-bye and Kristy is excited about how quickly Emily Michelle is learning to speak English... but then in Claudia and the Great Search she's "language-delayed."

I've skimmed snowbound recently and on the first page they get 23 inches of snow, then on page 4 they get 28... How much snow did they really get?

Either one is a crazy amount! I live in a state with harsh winters, and half that amount will knock us on our butts.

I found a typo on page 124 of Graduation Day: "It was a hugh relief." Okay, Mary Anne, who is this Hugh guy?

Kristy is left-handed but on page 27 in BSC In The USA, she's shown writing with her right hand.
