Dawn suggested just wearing sweatpants or even going out to buy a supercute pair of PJs. But Mary Ann started crying about how that would be lying because they weren't her real pyjamas because she didn't sleep in them. She was practically hyperventilating.

I think Don't Give Up, Mallory! must be pretty terrible, because out of the 100-some BSC books I own, this is the only one I actually have not been able to finish. I can't even get through the first chapter without getting really bored and putting it down. And, I mean, it's not like the rest of the BSC is composed of extremely scintillating stuff. This book just, like, repels me.

So effin' sleep in them and then you won't be lying! Some people sleep naked or in just their underwear, I suppose they were going to come to school like that?! MA is a moron.

Dawn suggested that to her! Didn't she? Wait, I think it was Mary Anne herself who thought of sleeping in her clothes, just so she could wear clothes as pyjamas and have it not as cheating. I don't know why she didn't go through with that idea.

They could have easily have worn T-shirts and trackies, I don't see what the problem is... Mary Anne is the ultimate ninny in this book

Heh, well it must be in character, because I haven't read this book, but when I read the previous posts I totally thought Mary Anne would think of it as lying.

I find it a little hard to believe that in 13 years of existence MA has not once slept in something resembling sweatpants and a t-shirt. I've slept in my clothes several times, usually for reasons I won't get into because they have nothing to do with the BSC unless the BSC drink. ;D

Ah, but Mary Anne is such a good girl! I'm sure she's tucked up in bed in matching pyjamas before midnight every night Unless she's a BSC sleepover, but even then they wear pyjamas.

But if she did, this whole ridiculous book might never have happened, and who wants that?!

I hated most of the earlier Jessi books like "Jessi Ramsey, Pet Sitter" and "Jessi and the Superbrat". I used to also hate "Jessi's Secret Language" but I reread it recently and I still don't like it, but it's not so bad.
The Super Special I've always hated was Island Adventure. I just found it boring and I could never really get into it.

I can never decide which SS I like least. I find both Winter vacation and Summer vacation to be very dull.
