In Mary Anne Misses Logan, Mary Anne mentions how she and her friends once won the lottery and visited Dawn's brother and dad in California.

I've been reading all three Sea City books in a row, and I've noticed that there's actually a lot of continuity between them. The same restaurants and stores appear, there's info about the same stuff happening, Vanessa likes honeysuckle, etc. SS#10 sort of combines events from the two regular series books and pretends they all happened during the same vacation, though.

What a good idea to read them in a row...summer begins tomorrow but we're already experiencing sweltering heat, I need to cool off by going to Sea City

That is a good idea to read all the Sea City books in a row. In SS#10, Dawn says that the sleepover inside the Sea City Elementary School Gym reminds her of the one the BSC hosted at SES.

In Stacey's Broken Heart, Stacey's job at the Cheplin's is mentioned.

In Claudia and the Recipe for Danger, Mary Anne references the letters she found hidden in her attic about her past. She also talks with Claudia about Verna. Shea still plays the piano and Claud describes (briefly) the time she and Shea worked together on schoolwork.

Jessi was always black. I know that sounds funny and/or obvious, but it isn't. In the Saddle Club series, Carole was at first just written as having black curly hair; no specific mention was made of race. I remember seeing an early cover where she was clearly very white. She was black later in the series, though, and all newer covers of the books have her as African American.

^I didn't know Carole was black for the longest time (I think my cover of #1 showed her with thick dark hair and tanned skin), same with Ms. Colman.

In Stacey and the Boyfriend Trap, Stacey and Kristy helped Mary Anne pick a design for her new bedroom. She picked one that used navy blue and yellow as the accent colors.

In Karen's Birthday, Karen has a conversation with Nannie while Nannie is knitting a sweater for Emily. In Kristy and the Secret of Susan, published in the same month, Kristy mentions in passing that Nannie is knitting a sweater for Emily with teddy bears and balloons on it.

The BSC meet the mayor of Stoneybrook, who is female, in Baby-sitters' Island Adventure, and the town still has a female mayor in Mary Anne and the Secret in the Attic when Jackie Rodowsky almost knocks her over at the town hall.
In Stacey's Choice, Stacey mentions a girl at her school in New York who had leukemia. I don't know if this is an intentional consistency or just a coincidence, but in The Summer Before, she talks about Freda Staples, a girl at her school who got leukemia.

Hannie always says Bill Capstin instead of bell captain; this is mentioned every time she plays Let's All Come In.

When Karen's little house family goes to Maine for the Packett family reunion in Karen's Magic Garden, Jessi looks after their pets, which I thought was cool, since it was so long after Jessi Ramsey, Pet-sitter was published.
