i have no idea what hula hoops could represent... maybe doritos, which are nacho cheese torilla chips. mmmmmmmm. milk duds are a milk-chocolate covered milk candy, according to wikipedia, but i don't know if that would give you a good idea of what they are.
i actually hate kandy kakes, at least the peanut butter ones.

Ah, thanks a lot! Doritos - good point. Mmm Milk Duds sound good (though I LOVE Maltesers). Americans invent the best candy! I go nuts whenever I'm there! And I pay the equivalent of $12 for a box of Lucky Charms from the American store in Holland...they are magically orgasmic.

^ They aren't my favorites but are good. To try to give a better description than wikipedia, amsterdamage, they are little ball shaped chocolate covered, chewy carmels that taste kind of "milky".

When i'm not in america i miss the junk food the most... I have dreamt about doritos before! But i think it's a good thing to not have access to these foods because i end up eating real food instead.

Hula hoops were a fad back in the 60s, not food. 'They're a giant plastic hoop that people would twirl around their waist. Why Claudia has them in her room puzzles me.

^Hula Hoops are still popular today. I know they still have them in supermarkets and such, at least here in the US.

^Those sound horrible. I don't really find most potato products to be all that appealing, and I'm not a junk food "fan".. but those look especially appalling.

Milk Duds are so good! They're one of my favorite candies. Mine too! I used to always like getting them in my Halloween candy.

Haha, nice typos! If I wasn't so lazy, I'd edit that. But diarrhea is one of those words I've never 100% sure about.
Hula Hoops are popular here in the UK. They're the kind of chip I like to stick on the ends of my fingers and eat them off that way (like Bugles...I'm so mature). Pigs In Blankets flavoured...I might have to try that one!

I have never liked Bugles. I can, however, admit to putting two pringles in my mouth and quacking like a duck. Last week.
