When, I was 11. I thought be cool start my own baby-sitters club. Have like 3 or 4 girls from my classroom to join. We have meeting at one of the house. Have meetings, I'll be the president. Be almost like the book. I was too young to baby-sit. Just didn't turn out, how I planned. lol.

t ried to start a craft club where we made jewelry like Claudia, but people thought we were geeks for it when we tried to get other people to join our club, and it wasn't cool at all I gave up jewelry making after it instead of letting myself become an art geek :*(

There was a girl that no one liked and I wanted to write her a letter to make her think it's from a guy that likes her, but then my uncle found out about it and stopped me....that is SO cokie mason of me isn't it? It's more like Paige in Ann's YA novel Slam Book. The major turning point of the novel is when Paige does this and it goes even worse than anybody could possibly have expected.

^Or the Heathers vs. Martha Dumptruck. Ann's book and that movie always remind me of each other.

Stacey did it cause she cared, I did it to be spiteful and cause I'd read too many preteen novels by then and was a middle school nerd feeling rebellious and wanting attention

When I was 13/14, I thought I had diabetes because I was a bit thirsty...I didnt but good to hear other members had the same experience, I'm not alone!
I have always been, and always will enjoy making my own jewellrey.
I still tell kids to use their "indoor" voice.

^ I think it's a rite of passage for every BSC fan to think they have diabetes. Thank you, Stacey!

When I was about 9, I started writing in a journal because Mallory did. That's not weird in itself, but I also thought my entries needed to be all angst-filled because that's what Mallory's journal entries were like.
I don't remember thinking I had diabetes, but my grandpa had it, and he stayed away from all sweets just like Stacey did. So I was convinced that diabetes was exactly the same for all people who had it - no sugar ever, or you'll die!

I thought the same thing about diabetes. My grandpa was also a brittle diabetic. I can't remember if I ever wrote this here - I made a chart like Mallory did where I organized my entire life my a schedule (like she did when she was writing that novel). I also pretended to be a radio DJ. I had a small electronic keyboard and I pretended I was a DJ like Claudia.

I made schedules occasionally, but I don't think I ever stuck to any of them for more than half a day.

I didn't stick to mine either! It was more fun to make them than it was to follow them.
