I can't blame Laine for that reaction.

I can't blame Laine for that reaction. Yeah, that was one occasion I was definitely on Laine's side. Which is saying something, because I usually hated her. Don't forget "chilly"

Yep.
I always associate chilly with New York, New York! because they use it often in that one. I hate when Dawn describe's Richie's mullet; he had a "chilly little tail." Uggh.

^ I hate the use of the word "tail" anyway. Reminds me of a horse's tail - especially when one of the Dawn in CA books said she was "braiding Maggie's tail." That's something I do to my horse. ;D

I really like some of the funny questions that the little kids come up with, Claire Pike especially. Secret Santa just had me laughing when she wondered if Santa stopped at McDonalds. I got a funny mental image of the sleigh cruising through the drive thru. ;D I almost started laughing during the church sermon yesterday when the pastor said that he had seen Santa run out of gas because it reminded me of this quote. ;D

Claire is funny I loved it when she thought that the bird that came down the chimney knew Santa Claus ;D I was reading Jessi's Gold Medal today and I always find the scene where Kristy is trying to show Stacey how to perfect her breast stroke for the Sports Festival on Claudia's carpet hilarious. Kristy turns her head over the shoulder and looks like a turtle and Claud has to cover her mouth to prevent herself from spraying crumbs all over the carpet. Then Kristy sarcastically asks if Claudia is going to enter Speed Eating in the festival and she responds that she will do something 'track orientated' and they all start 'howling with laughter.' Then MA and Dawn come in and ask about the commotion - "Kristy and Stacey were swimming on the carpet." Claudia said. "Claudia was being strange." Kristy said. Mary Anne and Dawn gave each other a they've-just-gone-nuts look. ;D

I love Shea trying to do Mad Libs in #100, and not knowing any of the grammatical terms (a pronoun is the name of a sports team, like New York Yankees, and an adverb is a verb from an ad).

I can't think of any specific ones, but all the BSC books I read have always made me laugh out loud.

I can totally relate to that...when I was a kid doing Mad Libs I would sometimes wonder "What the heck is that?!"
