i understand why the complete guide came out before the series ended, and it makes perfect sense, but even still i wish it could have been done afterwards to include all the character development that occured in FF. there are a bunch of big developments that don't get acknowledged.

That is why we started doing BSC Wikipedia. The series wouldn't have been popular enough at the end to justify the Complete Guide.

I want to add a captcha code, but I am worried about messing with the coding. And yes, we are still working on it and can always use help!

I don't have much to add since what I wanted to say has been said. I do think that Amelia should've appeared more in the books since she was going to get killed off so that the readers would've known her better and maybe liked her as a minor character. For some reason, I'm thinking Amelia could've been Dawn's partner in Dawn Saves The Planet and while she and Dawn worked on their project, Amelia and Mary Anne could've hanged out together a little and while Dawn, Mary Anne and Amelia learned things about each other, we could've found out more about Amelia. Also, when Dawn was acting out of control, Amelia could've then asked Mary Anne for advice or we could've seen how she decided to handle it on her own.

I like this book. I think that it was pretty well done, for a BSC book on a heavy issue. This time around, Amelia reminded me of my university friend Amy (real name Amelia) who, like Amelia herself, had reddish-brown hair, was a good student, pretty and friendly.
I like how Amelia was born in September. That would make her a Virgo, too (or a Libra if she was born in late September).
So I thought one of Mary Anne's resolutions was lame. Do better in English? So she is getting an A in English as opposed to her normal A+? I'm sure one of her strongest subjects is English, what is she talking about? She got the best mark on her autobiography. They should have picked another subject... like math or gym.

We had an incident in high school where a classmate died, of cancer not a car accident but still, and the school reactly similarly. They had counselors available all day, they had memorials, students who didn't even know her were upset, etc.

I forgot this one took place around New Year's (thanks Virgo!) I reread it and cried It's so sad to think about a sweet young girl having her life taken away so suddenly...her name is really pretty, Amelia Louise. I could see Mary Anne naming a daughter after her as a tribute.

Amelia Louise sounds like an Australian name to me. Probably because I've seen a lot of girls name Louise on Australian TV, especially Australian reality TV (the same thing goes for the name Simone).

I read this one last night and it made me weepy, of course. One thing that struck me as weird, though, was how Amelia died on "Jan 4th". We know it was a Thursday when she died, and it had been the first week back at school. So SMS sends students back to school on New Year's Day, it would seem. WTF?

This book never fails to make me weepy. I haven't read it in awhile though.

Did it say they started back on Monday or just that it was their first week back? They could have gone back on the 2nd.

Did she possibly die the night before they went back to school? Or had they been back for a few days already? Isn't Mary Anne getting ready to go back to school the next day when she hears the sirens? Haha lots of questions!

She left to go to a restaurant with her family from MA's house, where they were working on a school project together. So school was definitely in session.
