I don't think we were supposed to wonder about the logistics of Charlie. He was just the convenient chauffeur... We aren't supposed to think any more than that, because then he becomes uncool. Actually, I think a lot of the series is like that... We're supposed to be 8 year old kids, and not think too deeply about anything. Pity for them that we stuck around

But it's so much fun to analyze the series and realize nothing about them really makes any sense at all

^ yeah, I'm constantly reminded that I really should've put these books down over a decade ago... but where's the fun in that?

I remember the necklace now, "mustard seed as a symbol of faith," does that mean that Richard is a Christian or something? Or else the effects of faith wouldn't work? I dunno.

do you think that its weird that we still read the bsc? i know i do sometimes, and my mum thinks im regressing back to my childhood, hahahhaha.
it would be totally embarassing if any of my friends found out but sometimes i need to read something not so serious and the bsc provides that. ok, i sound crazy now.

Hee, everyone knows that I'm madly obsessed about the BSC. And maybe it's slightly strange, but... *shrugs* We're having fun!

Heck, my books are prominently displayed on a bookshelf right in my living room.
Edit: I live with my parents also. The bookshelf is theirs, and they were kind enough to lend me a section of it.

Mine are prominently displayed in my bedroom! (I still live with my parents, so I can't take over the house... Everything I own is confined to my bedroom). The BSC books lined up nicely on a bookshelf are so pretty.

^ That's how they are presented in my bedroom, too. Not many people come in there, though, not many people know about my BSC obsession. They're such great books for relaxing a little and they're also great to talk about!

And as my mother says, it's pretty harmless.
Everyone knows I read them, except I don't have enough room on our bookshelf to put the books (there's SO many). They're in tubs under the bed, but that's merely a space issue. Ha, I say I'm collecting them for my daughter to read when she's older - which IS true - but that doesn't mean I don't get plenty of enjoyment out of them now!
