That would've been interesting to read about. I wonder what books of hers would've been mentioned.

^ Mine, too. I wonder if Henrietta Hayes was modeled at all after Ann herself? When I wrote to Ann the second time and she told me how to pronounce Myriah, I had phrased my questions something like "the Mallory Pike" in me is trying again to ask Henrietta Hayes (you) etc. Unfortunately as I said she replied with the exact same form letter as the first time. At least she told us about Myriah.

^ So it was just the same form letter with that extra sentence about Myriah tossed in? I wonder if she has a copy of the form letter saved on her computer that she can just add extra stuff to when she feels like it. I'm never going to be able to read Myriah and pronounce it Mariah. I've always pronounced it as Myra and don't think I can change my ways now after 20 some years.

^The very same. :/ I discarded both. She makes it sound like she's going to reveal extra information, too. I wonder if she truly even read either letter. I hope (like to believe) she took the time to sign my book but there's no way of knowing on the letter. Possibly, some secretary (fan mail) person, adds each person's name to make it "personal" and that's it. The "Myriah" was a p.s. We know someone really did read the letter because of that. Another reason, one of you ladies should write her, see what happens. Maybe politely say upfront, you don't need the form letter. It just tells you her full name, where she was born, and a bibliography. A 2 paged condensed version of her "biography."

^I don't know, I kind of get the feeling that if she doesn't reply with a personal letter after a few tries, maybe repeatedly asking won't change anything. All the biographies/articles/about-the-authors about AMM I've seen have been very consistent about the fact that she does value her privacy and is not looking to socialize with fans, even though she does appreciate them.

^Probably not. I respect her privacy, I was just frustrated getting the same letter twice. That was why I suggested someone else try their hand at writing her. On the other hand, despite my mentioning in my first letter that I am not (nor do I have any interest in joining) on Facebook, she invited me to look for more answers to questions on her FB page.

Well that is just disappointing. At the very least, have someone read the letter and take out the parts of the form letter that don't apply. It is sad that people take the time to right letters to people they admire and this is what you get.

^Congrats Wiggirl and thanks. I doubt she receives the massive amount of letters now like she did in the 80's and 90's. Lol, not sure "I admire her," but lol I certainly love the BSC books.

I know at one point, Afton got a letter from Ann, and she made a thread about it here. I believe that the letter was a real, personalized letter, not a form letter.

If anyone should have gotten one it was Afton.

I don't think, I ever did group project in school. This was okay book. I couldn't stand Cokie in this book. She got away with murder. (I mean, being in group with Logan, Pete, & MA.) When, the students couldn't change groups. Sub-Plot So lame. The toilet monster. (probably the sewer back up.) Our toilet in our 2nd bathroom makes noise. (everyday) I think, they we're too old for believing their was toilet monster in their house. Kristy, didn't solved the problem. (probably made it worse.) The front is cool. I kept reading the book. Wondering, where's the scene of the girls, going roller skate. I was like, wait a minute. Didn't mention the girls at roller skate rank. False advertisement. I wonder, any other front cover books, don't mention the description of the front cover. I'll paid more attention, of more coming up books I'm reading. I use to roller skate, when I was little. Until I was 11. After that, I stop roller skate. (After my car accident in '93) I did, went to roller skate rank with my classmates. But, it wasn't fun. Cause, made me missed roller skating so much.
