^For dark haired guys besides Dean, I thought young as in the movie "Man on the Moon" and before Jeremy and Jason London were gorgeous.

Haha, yeah, the Londons were alway in YM and Seventeen and I thought they were cute too. I also liked Rider Strong because I loved "Boy Meets World" and well, compared to Cory... I think I cut out a picture of him and put him up on my wall, only because I think my sister was putting up cut-out pics on her wall too and I wanted to emulate. Then my mom was like, "Daddy's been asking who that guy on your wall is" and I was like, fine, whatever, and took it down. lol. He also didn't like my sister's Bush and Nirvana posters ;D I always preferred Luke Perry to Jason Priestley!

^No, the Londons really aren't cute anymore. Wasn't one into drugs? :/ I agree about Rider, BooBoo. You know, I only put up pictures on my wall briefly before realizing that really wasn't for me. I was always boy crazy in I appreciated a cute guy but just didn't need to display it. I do remember getting Tiger Beat and at least one other Teen magazine for a couple years. In the later 80's I was totally into Chad Allen, a blond and also thought Chad Lowe from Life Goes On was super hot.

Bush, Nirvana, and Rider Strobg? Childhood trifecta! I am very glad to have grown up in the 90s. A lot of the things I liked as a child, I still like today. I still have two Nirvana shirts that I wear on a regular basis.

Why is Claudia always the victim of secret admirer stalkers? We had Trever in #2, the guy in the first Super Special and Stacey playing "Choosey but Fair"....

"Earlier this year, Mary Anne was having a hard time. She was sorting though confusing feelings about some things..."
... What sort of "confusing things" was Mary Anne confused about? Sexy thoughts about her best friend, Kristy, perhaps?

Did anyone else notice the comments between Alan and Claudia. Foreshadowing, perhaps? In this book, Alan mentions that he likes Claudia and we know that they get together in FF.

I always thought that was put in intentionally too, but those books were so far away they couldn't have meant it. In my read through, I remember thinking there were several instances where there were openings for relationships so maybe the writers were just trying to keep options open?

Or maybe they noticed the Claudia and Alan pairing in this book and decided to make it happen in the FF series? Because you would assume that Alan would be with Kristy (or at least I do!) since his attention always goes on her.

Sometimes, though, you pay LESS attention to the people you do like because you get nervous. I do that because I am bad at life.

True! And I can see Claudia and Allan pairing up because, in a way, they are both "oddballs" or "outcasts" in different ways.

That's something I never Thought about before, but very true. Claudia would be more likely to consider Alan Gray as potential date material because she, too, is a bit different.

Yeah, in a kooky way they kind of fit? I guess that was the point. Throughout the series, I felt like they tried to make Claud "funny" (which sometimes worked for me and the odd time did not). Maybe Kristy and Alan was too obvious of a pairing, and Kristy would never go for him because deep down she doesn't seem him as romantic?
