I don't actually mind his BSC books. Of course, there not the same as Ann's, but he has his own unique style as a writer and is talented in writing books that are engaging and interesting to kids. I also liked that he's a guy who contributed to the BSC. That guy sure loves his acronyms!

Lerangis actually replied to me on Twitter. I'm internally flailing. Fun! I'd tweet famous people but I don't want a public profile. I just use my account to follow people.

LOL, I just told him that he was my favorite BSC ghost, and he thanked me.

I also liked that he's a guy who contributed to the BSC. That guy sure loves his acronyms! He's always been my favorite ghostwriter. Has anyone ever read his non-BSC books--39 Clues, et al? I got into a twitter argument once, about SOPA/CISPA. Still think he's a great guy, though. Oh, speaking of men who contributed to the BSC, one of the main editors of the series in the later years was David Leviathan, who has now become a prominent YA novelist himself. His real-life BFF is Cary Retlin ;D

^ I read about the David and Cary thing recently in a BSC article.
