I still have my first original book that my mother bought for me in 1988 when I was 9 years old (KGI, of course ). I also have all my other original ones too, I never got rid of any of them. The first 5 or so books have my name scribbled on the inside front cover in purple ink, because I was lending them to my friend and I didn't want her to forget to give them back to me! lol
i never bought them when I was growing up. Spent all my time reading them in libraries. But now im a grown up (technically) well now i have a bank card and access to amazon and ebay I have built up quite a collection . But I never give my books away.
My old BSC books, I don't think, I wrote my name in there. Unless, I did the survey's in the back of the book. I was wonder, who got my old books. Now, that I'm recollecting them again. I saw some name on the book or inside the book.
I'm re-reading Stacey and the Cheerleaders. Theirs a girl name Emilee on the front cover. In light blue ink pen.
So, if your name is Emilee, your on here or maybe someday you join this forum in the future. I have your book.

I did't write my name in books either because there was no reason to. I wasn't allowed to lend out my belongings and I'm too possessive of things to give them out even if I could have. I have bought books of people I knew though.
